I wish to complement a highly friendly, helpful, assertive and responsible member of your team at the Barking branch. Out of respect for her privacy I do not wish to share her name here, but I remember she said she was from Oman. My telephone enquiries on 01/02/21 were related to a letting over a property that I am keen on moving into. Your Omani colleague was aware at the outset the designated premises were outside of the immediate sphere of influence and responsibility of the Barking branch (Stratford was the relevant one), but was readily available to offer her time, support and guidance in pursuing the matter further. For this I applaud her efforts, her service and more importantly her time and additional assistance in taking the extra steps to bringing our dream to fruition. I say this because she telephoned the branch without my pressing her to do so, spoke to the tenant and arranged for a video tour of the property and answered my questions in a caring, sympathetic and dedicated manner. I would like to add she did some of these things while she was actually on her way out and as such was not required to do so, but out of the kindness of her heart, found the time to make this happen. Finally, if I may I would like to say, while I do not know your colleague as a person, my short conversations over the phone, propels me to state she is a valuable asset to your team, an efficient worker, an industrious, hard working, knowledgeable and truly forward looking and attentive individual.PositiveResponsiveness, Professionalism

I really liked the process of securing a rental property with Bairstow eves, After a week long search online, I got a flat and sent an email to Bairstow eves. Immediately I got response from Salma Khamfar (Lettings Negotiator), her email was life changing and when she followed it up by telephone, Oooh My God! She’s so…professional and talks with calmness. She guided me through the whole process of assessing whether I qualify for the property and afterword’s she arranged a virtual viewing of the flat and I was impressed with the presentation and went a head to confirm my interest in it. From this stage, my file was sent to Anne Peck (Branch-Co-ordinator) and this was another fantastic experience, Anne is so nice and I love the way she quickly replies to emails. She helped me a lot with putting all the documentations together up to the final stage when I secured the property. No hassle, everything was taken care by Bairstow eves staff. The Barking office recently sold my parents property. They were very professional, honest and kept us informed and updated at every step. Jason was the main person dealing with the sale, but if somebody else contacted us in Jason's absence, they always introduced themselves and explained the progress. There were no gaps in the service provided, even taking meter readings on the day of completion as we couldn't get to the property. I was given time and care when it came to looking for the perfect home for my family to rent, especially by John and Anne. Both such lovely people and I will always appreciate their hard work when I was struggling very hard to find a home that we felt was right, they do not give up and will try their best to help you to find what is perfect for you. Recently I moved in a new place that was arranged by Bairstow Eves Sales and Letting Agents Barking. I am really grateful to Ann, Salma and Dennis were outstanding and helped us find the perfect home. In this Pandemic it was really hard to find a property. But Ann, Salma and Dennis assured me within this time limit they will find the home for me. Salma assured me many times that she will find a place for me with in this time line. And they found the place in few days that I did not expect so quick. They were very supportive , I called them many times but they answered very politely . My enquiry was first managed by Dennis. I tend to find most estate agents rather dislikable but he was so friendly and welcoming, it was really refreshing. This was important because chosing to move in to a new home also includes regularly dealing with the estate agent and so a good relationship is really important to me. Dennis was accommodating and listened to what I needed in order help me find an appropriate property quickly. For the viewings I was shown round by Salma. She was very professional, but warm and approachable too and she guided me through the whole process of securing my tenancy. She suggested I view a second property and this turned out to be the perfect choice for myself and my partner. She was responsive and efficient and I was able to move in with a week thanks to her. I really love my new home and as im a key worker, being able to move quickly has been really important and hasn't disturbed my shift pattern too much. Also a quick mention to Anne who picked up all my emails in the final stages when Dennis and Salma were unavailable. Thank you all very much!

Terrible Letting Company, Avoid at All Costs! If I could give zero stars, I would. This is by far the worst letting company I’ve ever dealt with. They are completely unprofessional and dishonest when it comes to handling deposits. I vacated my flat 6 months ago, and despite endless promises to "evaluate and return" my deposit, they have done absolutely nothing. Every time I follow up, I get the same excuse, "we're working on it", but it's clear they have no intention of refunding what is rightfully mine. Their behavior is completely unethical, and they are taking advantage of tenants. Do yourself a favor and avoid this company at all costs. If you value your money and peace of mind, stay far away from them.
