GoogleHaving dealt with Martin & Co in Banbury for over six months, I have nothing but good to say about them. They have been so helpful and have got my three properties rented out very quickly. If a problem arises, they deal with it quickly and efficiently and I must say that they have made being a Landlady very, very easy. Thank you everyone. FacebookAfter being let down by another estate agents shortly before moving in and in a rush to find another property, the team at Martin & Co were extremely accommodating and helpful. Grace processed our application, got our references and tenancy agreement sorted in an amazing time and we were able to move in only 4 days after viewing the property! She was extremely understanding of our situation and answered all our questions we had due to our previous experience. I could not recommend a more friendly and helpful place ☺️

GoogleI would advise any potential tenants or landlords to run a mile. I’ve seen how this franchise works from the inside, and the picture isn’t pretty. Tenants and landlords ripped off on a daily basis. There are genuine estate agents in Banbury. I can provide evidence of the complete lies of the franchise holder. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

Absolutely awful! Left my property with carbon monoxide leaking for weeks during the coldest temperature in winter, had not contacted the actual landlord to let him know. Took weeks to release deposit after I had left the property. Rent rises the landlord wasn't aware of, along with a fair few other lies. Do not rent with them, unless you want to get treated badly and spoken to like dirt on the bottom of a shoe.

GoogleAwful and unethical business practice. Rang on a Tuesday to book a viewing for the Friday, told them we had a dog and told shouldn’t be a problem, would let us know if it is. Went to the viewing on the Friday, rang after to put down a holding deposit, told that the dog would be a problem. Went back to Rightmove to check for any other properties that have been added to find the rent had also been put up by £100, which was 10.5%, THAT MORNING - agent neglected to mention that at the viewing, or at any other point! At the viewing itself the agent was more interested in making small talk with the outgoing tenant than us, and moreover we weren’t advised that there would be anybody home when we went to view, which should have been mentioned as a courtesy at the very least. The most unprofessional experience I’ve ever had.

GoogleWell once I had case about my overflooded bathroom for about 2 months so the mold on the wall was growing mold on itself. Even cherwell was useless cuz they fight one with another leaving me with the problem alone. Than my property been moved to different agent I've send my rent by mistake to martinco as I still had thier bank account and guess what... I rang them to return it to me and they were fine but instead of that they proceed my money to my landlord and I got whatever was left so 100 pounds less from whole ammount as they charged me fees illegaly for property they dont deal with for last half year plus I had to pay another rent to current agents. Just sweet...

GoogleAvoid at all costs! We haven't even had the "pleasure" to meet these people in person! And they already managed to hugely disappoint. We wanted to view a flat in Banbury and called to make an appointment with the agent. The man was very hostile over the phone, said that the landlord wants someone sooner than our move date (more than 1 month away), which I can appreciate, but he said he'll show us the place anyway. He took my details, name, telephone, budget,etc. The alarm bells went, when on the day of the viewing, we didn't hear anything from the agency. I had to make another phone call and didn't get through to the branch, but a receptionist. They at least gave me the full post code of the property and ensured me that someone will get back to me. Well no one did! We arrived at the location, and through process of elimination found the correct door number. I'd like to add that we studied all the pictures closely and looks like some of them were of different flats from the same street. ( The giveaway was a window view and parked car in one of the photos.) We called again... No answer, so we were transferred to the receptionist. Again... We explained our situation and they suggested the same solution- we will get the agent to call you. But why would they if they haven't done that for the past hour? After waiting another 30 minutes, we just drove off. No one EVER called back to apologize, rectify situation, nothing! Let the other reviews be a warning too.
