This lettings dept of this estate agent is the worst we've ever had the misfortune to come across. They haven't got a clue what is going on, who is responsible for any concerns nor bother responding anyway. We rented a property through this agent for a year and they made it a stressful and horrific ordeal from start to finish which ultimately lead to me taking county court action because they breached their tenancy contract. I purchased a property and the customer service I received was excellent. Each stage I was notified of updates, curtis the mortgage advisor was amazing as well literally made the process so simple. There are some wonderful staff in there, however they have an utterly unprofessional and rude Sales Branch Manager. We agreed on entering a multi agency contract initially with the sales manager and then they try to change their word by saying, they won't work with this particular agency and if that is the case we are not advertising. Eventually I did go multi agency with Bairstow and the same agency, who he said won't work with and when the sale came from the other Agency, I had a tough time in getting our house key back from the Sales Manager. In the end, I got a member of the staff who was very helpful in returning the key on the same day. Third time around, after losing our previous sale, and again the other agency finding us a buyer, I asked for our key to be returned, which they had borrowed from an other agency to conduct a viewing and now they claim they do not have one and the Sales Manager sending very rude and blunt emails. I have to say this person went all out trying to get to market our property, coming home they same day when asked, collecting the keys, lowering commission rates etc. however once that phase is over, or when they know they have lost the battle, he turns into a completely unprofessional chap. Very unsatisfying experience overall, barring the good photography on their ads and the courteous staff. Note: I had to make some edits to the review I posted initially following these bitter experiences.

Absolutely awful service, we had booked a viewing today for a house in Banbury. We arrived, stood outside for 10 minutes in the pouring rain so I rang the office and it turned out it was sold earlier this week. We had no communication about this at all. No empathy from the lady on the phone. We wasted an hour round trip, petrol and our time. We will not be using this estate agent again.

I have received numerous amounts of calls from this estate agency and I have requested my details to be removed, I'm not sure how they had my details in the first place. I have spoken to someone in there and he couldn't even tell me my address or anything in relation to me. With the new GDPR rules that are in place I thought this was illegal to do. I will be seeking further advice and would avoid this estate agent unless you like nuisance calls!!

I have never had any issues with the sales team whilst buying my first house to rent, i have dealt with each of the team individually and they are all fantastic. I have also noticed a huge difference in service with the lettings team since they have been under new management, they are brilliant at communicating between my self and my tennant.
