GoogleFrom selling our house with ELR we found that they were the only agents who were honest rather than telling us what they thought we wanted to hear. Following this their advise on getting the house ready for photos and viewings was really helpful and we sold very quickly. We were then buying a house which fell through a week before we were due to complete on our sale and they worked really hard to help us find a place and get everything completed in the short time we had. Thank you to the staff at Bakewell branch and Tim.

GoogleStaff at the Bakewell Branch helped with both the sale of my previous house and the purchase of a new Apartment. From the outset they were professional, ensured that I was regularly updated and acted as wonderful Counsellors through the stressful times (yes, it is totally true that it can be a very stressful experience!) Since my move, the staff have even advised my son - looking to buy his firstpropertythroughanother Estate Agent elsewhere - and their guidance has now got him onto the property ladder. My sincere thanks go to all the team - and I cannot recommend them highly enough.

FacebookDisgusting customer service (Wickersley). Denied responsibility over a series of mistakes they made when I was trying to purchase a house which resulted in them selling it to someone else without me knowing. The way they went about business was extremely sly, dishonest and questionable. I would certainly never trust them again.

Hi Natalie. We are extremely sorry that you had to write this review and that you feel so disappointed and let down by ELR. When we spoke at length on Wednesday over the telephone, we explained what had happened and also spoke in length to your selling agents. Again, we categorically assure you there was nothing underhand, suspicious or dubious about the whole process, it seems to be a lack of communication somewhere & the buyer has no connection to any staff member of ELR whatsoever. We are happy for you to call into our office anytime to look at our file notes and discuss further should you wish to. In the mean-time we wish you all the very best of luck in your house search and our offer is still open to you if you require us to mail drop a particular area for you.

How things have changed in the last 4 years. They and all the others just seem to throw many obstacles in the way probably because they have tennants throwing themselves at them they can do as they wish and it not matter.

FacebookLaughable service from ELR, booked to look around a property at 9.30 on saturday morning and received confirmation by email and phone, turned up at the correct time (no mean feat with a 2 year old in tow) and no-one turned up. Phoned and they had it down for 12.30 which we couldn't do. We're booked in to view this property at 5pm tonight but its been taken off the market on right move and has a sold sign up outside it-have they informed me, of course not. Total joke, certainly wouldn't recommend them.
