I let my property through Winkworths in Kensal Rise.I recently had the property completely refurbished and decorated. Michael did a brilliant job of organising all the tradesmen and making the process quick, efficient and very smooth. His input and suggestions were extremely helpful. Aaron also did a brilliant job of getting the property let quickly. The process was very professional and efficient. They are always very friendly and helpful to deal with.

Angela and her team are AMAZING

Angela and her team are AMAZING! She secured a very quick sale for my house achieving a good amount above the asking price and helped me secure my purchase under the asking price. But where they really really shine is the personal service ironing out the ‘impossible’ scenarios. I was going through a tricky personal time with my Mum in hospital when a neighbour started misbehaving about a nasty notifiable weed which looked as if it would completely scupper the sale, she stepped in with advice, support and telephone numbers.They offer a polite, honest efficient service, so helpful and I contact as a friend as well as a BRILLIANT Estate Agent.No hesitation to recommend.

AVOID NOTTING HILL BRANCH IF YOU ARE A RENTER!! This agency will priorities profit from a commission on a 2500 flat than morals and basic human respect. I have been verbally abused, a neighbour attempted to force entry into my flat and physically assault me and my partner has been called a bastard and numerous racist remarks made to him and all they care about is a sad little one bed flat. I have police reports and video evidence of this which they cannot deny. I rented a property on Newton Road as a single woman and the building had the most anti social and dangerous neighbours I have ever come across! The landlord knows about their behaviour as she rented the flat out for many years. I’ve been shouted at by the man on the second floor and had an attempted physical assault by the men on the first floor and constant abuse throughout my stay! The landlord did not apologies until the agency told her so they could save face! They could come and say I could’ve left but is the landlord willing to bear the costs and the time I have to spend viewing flats and costs of transporting my belongings that are already in the 3rd floor of the building with no lift? Prioritising money and landlord over tenant safety is extremely low as they went ahead and still marketed it again. The property is a one bed, below average and they are treating it like it’s the most precious castle while treating tenants like peasants! Been living in London for over 5 years and never in my life been so disappointed by an agency and landlord! Really atrocious behaviour by the rental management team.They also have no idea what is in the apartment contacting me to ask if its furnished or not to market it like its not the lazy landlord’s job! They have no manners or respect bombarding me with messages for viewings when I have clearly stated I am with my mother and I cannot accommodate more viewings! I was living there for 6 months with a gas leak which I did not make too much fuss about because I had great landlords before who deserved the benefit of the doubt! This landlord however would ignore my messages requesting a fan for the oven hub! How cheap and pathetic. On top of all of this it took them 3 weeks to release my deposit, first the landlord wanted to take too much money then it was passed as an “innocent mistake of miscalculation” then they want to put in the deposit release that it is “required” of me to share proof that I’ve informed the suppliers of moving out and proof of that all of my council tax is paid what an absolute joke! They did not clarify admit that they legally cannot request such things until I have confronted them that I know I am not legally required to give them anything. The lettings manager and the landlord are such disgusting human beings for being two women okay with this insanity, all for a sad little commission from 2500 a month flat if your morals and manners are that low and cheap don’t work at an estate agency there are better fitting industries for you to thrive in.

Henry Synge and his team in RBKC were a…

Henry Synge and his team in RBKC were a pleasure to deal with. They acted in a professional and polite manner and I had a realistic offer accepted after a few weeks of negotiations.The vendor was maladroit and unrefined; yet Henry still maintained excellent communications with the different parties involved and he managed to get the contracts done. Finally, as a foreign buyer, caveat emptor applies in RBKC. It's nowhere near as nice as LA- Beverly Hills or NY-Upper East Side (yet the prices in RBKC are higher per sq ft). It's a very complicated area and in my honest opinion, there are only a handful of garden squares or roads that are worth it.

Thomas Syms saved my purchase

Agreed purchase at a price we were really happy with but mortgage market going crazy caused us huge delays with our mortgage. The vendor previously listed dual agent and the other agent kept following up, despite being under offer, and us doing all we can to proceed as fast as possible. Without Thomas’ great levels of communication we could have lost the sale, very grateful for his assistance and will stay in touch with him long term.

They are charging outrageous amounts for rent, far more than the property is worth, and they have been completely unresponsive when I’ve tried to get clarity on why the costs are so high.On top of that, they’ve held my full deposit without any valid explanation and refused to communicate properly. Getting in touch with them is almost impossible, and they never arrange meetings with the landlord, even when it's necessary. Horrible!They do not deserve this star...but I have to put somethingHorrible from the start to the end. Kept us blocked in a transaction for 9 months. They do not care at all for the buyers, not even for their sellers. They will not put any effort in helping or quite during the transaction. Extremely bad customer service!The solicitors that they recommend (Ledenhall law) expensive and unprofessional. They will never reply to updates request, and if they do,they will do it in an unprofessional and extremely rude manner, not what you will expect from a solicitor.I will never ever in my life want to hear from them again. Disappointing service

Their management company had ignored a number of our requests, including removing old furniture and having the property professionally cleaned. We have also found that a number of the appliances do not work. This would definitely put me off using them again.

Recommending an Estate Agent is usually a tricky one. However from the start I found Winkworh Kingsbury extremely professional. Winkworths Barnes: Amateurish and incompetent selling agents

Amateurish and incompetent in the extreme. As sole agents during 4 months of the peak house-buying season, Winkworths Barnes failed to sell our house despite interested buyers, all other properties at similar price-point being snapped up and low stock levels. Childish communicators with zero transaction-management skills. Even after we took our house off the market and formally terminated their agency, they continued to display our house on their website marked "under offer" - when the house was not under offer, they were not our agent and we had not consented to their using a photo of our property for marketing purposes. If you are looking for ineffectual and bombastic service, this is the firm for you.

Tooting branchNothing but good things to say about Thomas from the Tooting Branch. He was great from the first viewing to getting us to exchange. He was proactive, super responsive the whole time, managed our expectations really well throughout the journey and got all parties to hit the timelines. Buying a house is a very anxiety enducing experience but having someone who you can chat to easily and quickly on whatsapp rather than email was great. If you are buying or selling a house with the wandsworth branch - highly highly recommend working with Thomas.

Terrible neglective managment!!!! We have been renting with them for a…

We have been renting with them for a year and a half, always on time with our responsibilities, always updating the managment for any issues with the lift or anything regarding the property. We had an emergency on the 31st of December where the boiler stop working and we were left completely with no warm water and a boiler that for some reason was leaking water! We were provided with emergency contacts which we tried contacting for about 3 days before we get an answer from them refusing to come and check the boiler as they were pretty sure they could not do anything due to the lack of parts( which they didn’t even know from the phone where and what exactly was the issue). After 4 days without warm water a guy came to check and nothing was done. In less words after all managment department was informed with the emergency, as we are talking about month January, even if they send people, who never treated our situation ,with a toddler at home, as emergency, did nothing. We were left for almost a month with no warm water and with the excuse that parts and manufacturers where difficult to find, with no other option and no reasonable deduction of the monthly rent, no help and no options with a toddler the most cold weather of the year!!! And the only response was that they are trying and we can have warm water for a family of 3 by using kettles!!! The boiler was fixed temporarily but still not permanently and we are at the middle of February. The worst managment we have ever faced and now they are asking us to leave with no excuse or reason. I am not willing to deal with this agency anymore and I hope I will never have to deal with such a neglective and awfull situation where they left a family with a young child in the most cold weather of the year for a month without heated water!!! I feel ashamed and disrespected but I have to make this review in order other peiple to be aware!
