GoogleGeorge David were very helpful with us. They knew our budget and stuck to that and showed us properties I never thought I wanted, one of which I fell in love with and brought. They catered to us and every question we had they answered! GoogleA very disappointing experience. The Agents failed to tell us about the recent history of the property, only disclosing to us that it had been rented out most recently, avoiding my partners queries into its last sale. We later found out through our own research that the property was sold for £50,000 less of the advertised price, just 8 months ago, and that the post code area is in fact declining in value. The Agents also tried to play me and my partner off each other, with separate offers, telling us we didn’t need to consult each other before putting in a higher offer (?!?!). It’s very clear that the Agents only have their eye set on their impending commission, and are happy to take advantage of First Time Buyers.

Thank you for your review, we take our levels of customer service very seriously. With regards to the property in question we sold the adjoining semi detached house (sale completed at the end of September 2018) which is identical but not as modern internally. Although the exact figure can't be disclosed I can tell you it was fairly close to the asking price of £240,000. On that basis we felt the valuation of £250,000 for the property you were interested in was fair, particularly as the seller is open to an offer and the property was in better condition. The information you feel we failed to disclose (the price the current owner paid) is there for anyone to look at on any number of land registry linked property sold price websites. Whilst the price an owner paid for a property can be relevant to the current value it can also be completely irrelevant dependent on the circumstances of the sale when the house last changed hands. If you would like to have a further discussion regarding current house prices to ensure you are best prepared for your property search we would be delighted to assist. GoogleNo one ever calls you back to book viewings and when you do get through they promise a call back and then nothing. They are clearly not that motivated to sell houses all they kept wanted to talk about was.my house that was I with another agent ! More interested in the other agent and how they was getting.on then wanting to talk about my search!

GoogleAwesome Customer Service and realistic. They were also very honest. Previous agents had overpriced our house to entice us into listing our home with them and then used our house to sell others. We went to George David and explained the situation and the problems we were having and they explained the issue and advised us what the market value was doing and confirmed they could definitely sell the house, which they did in less than 2 weeks showing genuine interested and relevant buyers around. They kept us informed at all times which made the experience a lot less stressful as on our previous estate agents we had to chase the agent to find out what was going on. All in all they provided us with a great service to the very end, if you are selling in the area, I would definitely recommend George David 100 %.
