Karen Woolley at Vickers Grange…

Karen Woolley at Vickers Grange couldn’t have been more supportive! From the outset she explained and helped me and my partner as we’d never sold a property before and it was very overwhelming. Although we didn’t end up purchasing her plot, we didn’t feel like we had wasted her time. We visited the show house multiple times, and spoke with Karen about our current situation and she advised us of next steps. Due to Karen’s helpfulness we’re not ruling out Gleeson properties completely, it’s just unfortunate that the plot available at Vickers Grange wasn’t quite suitable. Once again, thank you Karen!

Fantastic Service - Cannot fault it

Now that I have finally taken ownership of my lovely new house in Chimes Bank ; I thought it only right to write you a brief email highlighting the absolutely excellent work of your sales executive Caroline . Caroline has been with me every step of the journey in me buying my house ; right from when I turned up at the Chimes Bank development last August in monsoon like conditions having driven 300 miles up the M1/M6 in the hope of possibly being able to reserve a plot ; to making sure she was in attendance when I completed on the purchase in May and was handed the keys to my dream house even though she had recently moved to another development . Now that’s what I call Customer Care !! Right from our first meeting she was professional with excellent knowledge of the Chimes Bank development , very friendly & supportive & always gave excellent advice . She listened to what I wanted , where I was in attempting to sell my property in Bedfordshire & what my financial limits were . I was over the moon when she said straight away she would reserve a plot for me . Throughout the ensuing few months I would experience a few hurdles in my attempt to finally get my dream home , but Caroline always was there on the end of a phone to offer cheery advice & support & never lost faith in me being able to secure the property ( even though I myself nearly did when the original buyers for my flat pulled out ) . The reason why I have such an excellent choice of colours for the kitchen / bathroom / tiles / carpets & flooring was that on the day I attended Chimes Bank in February to choose my options Caroline was there to guide me through the process & gave me her truthful advice when I asked for it over the choices I was making . I can honestly say that without her help , guidance , expertise , support , knowledge & friendly cheery manner , I would not have been able to get my house . She is that good in my opinion . She really is an absolute credit to her profession & in my humble opinion Gleeson are very very fortunate to have someone of her ability working for them . So long as Caroline is working for Gleeson they will continue to sell a good many homes because of the great customer service she gives . When you are speaking to her she makes you feel as though you are the most important customer Gleeson have . Please can this email be passed up to your directors at Head Office so Caroline can get the praise she so richly deserves in my opinion In closing I have to say my whole experience of dealing with everyone at Gleeson has been absolutely first class & I would have no hesitation in recommending Gleeson built homes to any of my friends or acquaintances . Great homes ; lovely friendly people & fantastic value for money . My personal opinion is that Gleeson really is a top company who genuinely care for their customers . I have no hesitation in awarding Gleeson Homes 5 stars on Trustpilot

Amazing Experience With Gleeson

Jackie has been an amazing help from start to finish guiding me through the process of buying a house at acklam gardens. Even though there was a language barrier, Jackie went an extra mile in making sure I understood everything. The completion process was very quick and took just over 2 months using the solicitors advised by Gleeson who also did a great job. Jackie kept me informed throughout the whole process making it an easier experience overall. We did encounter a slight problem however, Liam, the site manager and Jeanette went above and beyond to ensure this issue was resolved asap.A massive hats off to Jackie who has been absolutely incredible throughout, her service is very much appreciated and I am incredibly grateful and satisfied. I also wanted to give a huge thanks to Jeanette and Liam who helped where and when needed.

Upon buying our house, we could not have been happier at first thanks to the agent who helped us throughout the process. However, after being in our house 12 months we feel we have been fobbed off by Gleeson. At point of purchase, we were led to believe that every plot would be occupied by its owners, and it was not until after completion that Gleeson revealed they had actually sold the remaining properties to an investor to be rented out. Since being off site, the place has been left an absolute mess. There are far too many patches of turf that are not tended to so are overgrown and unsightly. There is remnants of rubbish and equipment left over at the entrance to the site that is yet to be moved. The roads/driveways/pavements are a mess. We are constantly told that work is due to begin imminently, however months and months pass and nothing changes. The site unfortunately is an eyesore.

We are both first time buyers and when we went up to the new chimes bank estate we were greeted by Caroline who made us feel very welcome and at ease. Caroline explained the whole process and talked us through each stage.We then went on to reserve our property and Caroline was there to assist us with any questions every step of the way and nothing was to much trouble she kept in regular contact and if she didn't have the answers she would find out swiftly and get back in touch. We moved into our property on Willows…

We moved into our property on Willows park almost 18 months ago. We are still waiting for our drive to be topped with tarmac and have all of the rotten and broken wood replaced. We are also waiting for the road surface to be completed. We did leave a review last time and was contacted to say work would be carried out by the end of April. Well we are half way through May and we still haven't had our drive finished or the road even started. There is still lots of rubbish dumped at the top of our road. They make promises that never happen. Our house build is actual okay, we like the house and have only had minor issues, but we didnt expect to spend the best part of 200k and our driveway remain unfinished and the road looks like a building site at the entrance.

Wonderful Experience for First Time Buyers

My wife and I bought our first home with Gleeson, and the experience was fantastic. We met our sales manager John Carr in November, and thanks to him the whole process was smooth, well-communicated, and stress-free.We were advised our home would be ready between March and May, and John gave us weekly updates throughout the process until we got our keys at the end of April/start of May.John was brilliant at every point of the process, from helping us with the initial steps and stages of the purchase, to aiding us when choosing our extras, it was a pleasure to work with him and Gleeson. The Gleeson team have been nothing but helpful. Angie and Bethany helped us throughout our purchase, they were responsive on email and kept us up to date along the way. Angie was thorough with ensuring minor details were immaculate on last inspection and was attentive throughout the whole process.Danny the Site Manager has been great, couple of snags picked up on moving in which were minor but both Angie and Danny couldn’t stress enough that they would resolve them and the point of the Gleeson app is to report them to rectify. The snags were resolved 3 working days later. The worker that came to the house to resolve these was friendly and helpful. Nothing seems to be a trouble at the moment. We are looking forward to settling into our new home.

Our experience with gleeson

We moved into our gleeson home at the Petersmiths park development just over 2 months ago now, and the process from beginning to end was excellent. All of the staff involved were amazing and very helpful. Alex was very keen to help throughout the buying process and made sure we received weekly updates on our plot so that we could see where it was at by the end of each week. She did a great job at simplifying the process for us and making sure things went smoothly from gleesons end. During the house demo, her and rodd (site manager) were very eager to answer any queries we had and both kept notes on any issues we found with the home before moving in (in which there were very few). Any issues that were found, both Alex and Rodd ensured were fixed before we picked up our keys. They both committed to visiting a couple of times after we’d moved too, so that they could ensure we were still happy with the home and to check if we had any further issues. Overall, the experience we had at Petersmiths park was nothing short of excellent, and we would highly recommend it. All of the staff made sure that the purchase of mine & my partners first home was very special and memorable.

Smooth and pleasant experience

We just bought our new home and about to move in tomorrow and have had such a smooth and easy process from start to finish with Gleesons. In particular Tina Walker has made this so easy, kept us informed and helped us with any questions we had asap! She brought a fun aspect to the whole process and felt like she was genuinely excited with you. We have had quite a lucky situation as the house was already built and all upgrades already in, we viewed the house on the 3rd of march, mortgage approved with Meridian Mortgages (highly recommend it speeds up the process as they work well with Gleesons) by end of March, and a move in date of 26th of April! Rainsborough Park and Sharon

Our first home. We looked at a few 2beds in other developments and they were so small. The size of gleeson homes are so generous. It’s the only way we could get on the property ladder and we’re so thankful we didn’t have to completely compromise on space. We can’t thank Sharon enough. She went above and beyond in her role, taking time to chase the mortgage broker on our behalves. We didn’t have a smooth run up to the house being ready, there was a lot of background issues and stressors, however none of that was at the fault of Gleeson and Sharon was the one person we could count on to help us through that. She even helped us understand some of the legal jargon. I hope that everyone buying there first home has a Sharon to help them. :) Once we moved in there has been minimal issues and any small problems we had were repaired so quickly. I would recommend Gleeson and this development to anyone. We’ve had the best experience. Thank you, thank you, thank you. ☺️

Plot 402 Rainsborough park

We have just bought a new build home at the Rainsborough park site and we are very close to moving day ! We reserved our home back in February 2024 so this has been a very quick, easy and enjoyable experience for us. I can't thank Sharon and Tashana enough they have been amazing, very kind, helpful and a massive part in our home buying process. As first time buyers its very daunting buying your first home as they are so many questions and lets be honest most of the time you don't know what your doing! Although no question was a wrong question for Sharon and Tashana and they have been very supportive, explaining everything thoroughly and have done their best they can to accommodate our needs. Myself and my partner have been looking for our first home for a very long time we recently decided to buy a new build. We have visited a few sites across Leeds and Wakefield but the 2 bedroom home were too small or the sales advisors were too pushy until we stumbled across Rainsborough Park. Firstly other developers such as Keepmoat are too expensive for a two bed and the homes are too cramped. Although Gleeson offer affordable homes and you get more for you money saving up to 100k- Bargain! Ideal for first time buyers:). We fell in love in love with the Mayfield and when we found out that three homes were available to purchase we were so excited. We booked an appointment to look around the Cork and the other show homes so we could get a feel for it. When we arrived we were greeted by Tashana who was very understanding and kind and although the site dosn't have a show room for the mayfield Tashana booked us an appointment to look around one of the available plots (our home). Tashana emailed us after leaving the development which instantly put a smile on our faces as in the email it stated "lovely to meet you both". We instantly felt at home just after meeting one sales rep and the people on the estate were so smiley and waved as you drove in so you instantly get a homely feel. When we looked round the Mayfield we fell in love. The layout is beautiful and very different to most 2 bed semis. This home is very spacious and light and looks detached from the front. Me and my boyfriend decided to reserve instantly. The kitchen was already picked but Sharon picked the most beautiful style and something which anyone would love. We then met Sharon who was just as excited for us and was so helpful and explained everything thoroughly. I felt they weren't pushy at all and they were the best sales reps I have met. Through February - April Sharon has updated us weekly, we have been invited in for our options meeting and we have never been kept out the loop. The whole experience has been amazing, exciting and stress free thanks to Sharon and Tashana so i would 100% recommend buying a property at Rainsborough Park. Sharon and Tashana- Thankyou so much for such a positive experience - your a credit to Gleeson Homes and you can tell you put time, passion and hard work into your customers! We couldn't be happier. We already feel at home!

Phoenix meadows

Although we haven’t bought a house with Jack at Phoenix meadows we popped in today to show him what we have done since we moved in 7 weeks ago. We purchased plot 76 at Vickers Grange and Jack has been available to offer advise throughout our buying journey. As his site was closer to where we used to live than where we have moved to, we saw him a lot when visiting the show home! Jodie from Gleesons was very helpful from start to finish with our sale. There was a slight hiccup booking our demo day but it was resolved and we were booked back in within the week. It was a very quick sale and she was available whenever we needed advise or to visit the site. We completed in less than 2 months using the solicitors and advisor recommended by Gleeson and had no issues with either service. The site manager has also been very helpful and is willing to listen to any concerns and resolve them where possible.

Excellent service

I can honestly say my wife and I have had such a good experience buying our first home from Gleeson. Before settling with Gleeson, we did a market survey which revealed they had the lowest priced houses in the area we wanted. It took just a couple of weeks to seal the deal and move in, and I have been impressed with the quality of the house and also it's large-sized garden space. We've been living in it for 2 months plus and have no complaints so far.Also, Megan, the sales executive in the sales office at Hillcrest Gardens has been really friendly, helpful and informative throughout, always responding to emails quickly. Early days but brilliant so far!
