GoogleI had a viewing of a lovely property by Zoe today. Everything was to a very high standard and it was very well presented. Zoe was absolutely lovely, and helped show me where everything was from the view as she knew I didn't know the area very well. She also went out of her way to show me the offices, to sign for our hopeful new home! Then even though they were busy everyone was lovely when we got there to sign! Fabulous customer service! GoogleI have just completed on the sale of a property through Reeds Rains in very challenging conditions. Andrew and Carol were fabulous from start to finish. Communication was excellent - I was regularly updated with what was happening, and nothing was too much trouble for them, even making trips to the property on my behalf as I do not live locally. GoogleMy daughter and her baby have been treated outrageously, damp in the house where a new born baby is. They did not help at all and when my daughter handed the keys back to them and came back home to live with me and her mother reeds wouldn't give them their deposit back. I went to the house to move their belongings and the house was totally tidy and clean and smelled nice. Reed said that they need to rip the carpets up. There was only two carpets upstairs none downstairs. The deposit was over £500. Me and my wife were thinking of buying a buy to let off them but if they treat young people starting out in life like that I would not like to deal with them. Reeds have even refused to give them a reference so they will have to stay with us as without a reference they will not be able to get anywhere else.

GoogleI have had the privilege of dealing with Tracey, Carol and Amy since 2015 when I chose Reed Rains to fully manage my property to let and recently sell. From the outset they have always been friendly, helpful very professional, up to date with legislation and very responsive. When I have emailed they respond, when I have called they always answer and get back to me quickly on any issue. Happy tenants tend to extend and renew their contracts and when you are working with such a great team this has always been my experience. Recently I decided to sell and Carol arranged the first six viewings on the same day from which I received 3 offers, one of which was excepted and I am delighted to say recently completed. I recommend them highly to anyone thinking of buying/selling or letting a property, you will find yourself in the best of hands.

GoogleAfter attending 2 viewings today, both with Zoe Harewood, I cannot rate Reeds Rains any higher. Zoe was extremely friendly and helpful and also very honest about anything I asked her. I was a little nervous about the viewings but as soon as I got there I was put at ease and I cannot recommend her enough. It was a pleasure and thank you so much for all your help!

GoogleAndrew, and his team, at Reeds Rains Estate Agents in Ashton-under-Lyne have been brilliant from start to finish. When my mother passed away last summer, dealing with her estate was a privilege, however it took me into somewhat unknown territory in terms of what to do and when dealing with a house sale in probate etc., Andrew though offered sound timely guidance from the first time we met in Mum’s front room. It has taken 8 months however having recently completed the sale, I couldn’t be more pleased with the service and advice received.

They gave me good advice when enquiring about renting and finally selling my property. All staff were lovely and always got back to me when I requested a call back, and got frequent updates on the progress from start to finish. Totally recommend them over other estate agents in the area I've previously used.

GoogleAwful when it comes to communication skills (they tried to talk down to me and used a very rude tone), leave property maintenance undone despite constant calls and emails (holes in the ceiling which was letting in rain water), Say they will do certain work before you move in but don't. They actually sent someone out to cover damp caused by a leak in the loft and they painted over it with gloss! Only gave 1 star as you have to put a rating. We thought about buying it they asked for an offer then said it wasnt a valid offer (after about a week) as the deposit money (which was waiting to clear from a cheque)Wasn't available to pay there and then. I'm actually surprised they know how to put one foot in front of the other! As I'm unable to reply to your reply I will edit my original review in order to reply. My review wasn't clouded by recent events. As for how you responded to to maintenance issues you never answered my question regarding the downstairs toilet roof which was left un-repaired even though the contractor said he'd give you a quote but nothing happened from there. I think it amusing how you try to force people into giving you their new address yet when they seek advice and email you with a screenshot of that advice you ignore the email yet you have the time to reply to reviews. I WILL NOT BE HARRASSED OR BULLIED INTO GIVING MY NEW ADDRESS. For those who have been told you have to give them your new address in order for them to unregister your deposit you don't. I contacted TDS (Tenancy Deposit Scheme) and they said the only details they need to do so is your phone number and or email address. NOW REEDS RAINS RELEASE MY DEPOSIT!!
We are disappointed that you are dissatisfied with the service that we have provided. We feel that we have always acted professionally over any issues you have had during your tenancy. On this occasion we feel that there are other factors following your move out of the property, that have perhaps clouded your perception of our service provision and led to a breakdown in communication. However, as you are aware, we have now reached a mutual agreement regarding this.
