Cairds in Ashtead did a great job on helping me with a complex sale that had fallen through in the past and I needed to get completed. They set out a good sales strategy, got lots of interest very quickly, helped me select the best buyer, and the team there, especially Jo Woods, were brilliant in regularly getting information from all the parties involved and making sure that issues were being brought to the attention of the people who needed to deal with them. I couldn't recommend them more highly.

We’ve just bought a property through Cairds, dealing mostly with Lorraine. We found her to be very professional, helpful, and quick to respond to queries, emails etc. There was a significant delay in being able to get the keys, due to the transfer not arriving at the vendors solicitor, but the staff in the office, were very active in chasing solicitors! We would recommend Cairds, if you are looking to buy a property!

I am very satisfied with the service I received from the Caird's lettings department, particularly the updated information during the process of arranging tenants for my flat and the timely responses received from Kayleigh McHugh (Senior Letting Administrator). I am really pleased to say that Kayleigh has always responded in a timely, professional manner. Her communication was always extremely helpful, informative and upbeat allowing me to have reassurance that she was doing everything she could for me without the need to chase or worry. I cannot recommend Kayleigh highly enough as a Senior Lettings Administrator. Thank you Kayleigh!While I did experience difficulties with my tenant arranged through Cairds late last year, Christina Stacey, Lettings Director provided me with invaluable advice guiding me through the process of an early surrender agreement, which was highly effective. Huge thanks Christina!Cairds lettings department's input in arranging a new tenant was both efficient and professional. Well done on providing such a great service.

Many of Lucy Fox's comments resonate with me. Service has gone down hill. I have rented through Cairds for 10 years and have gone from being really happy to never wanting to work with them again. Despite my many issues and complaints over several months Sathees Arul has asked me to complete this review and to mention him by name . Christina Stacey also deserves a mention as does Simon Caird the owner of the business. Perhaps my tenants (found by Cairds) who passed credit checks in their own words best sum up the situation ""Also Me and my wife don't have jobs at the moment. To be honest I don't have any money in my bank account other than debts. I'm owing money to the bank too (previousloans & creditcards). I don't know how to pay you. Sorry don't get me wrong. my current finance situation is so critical. Even if you go to CCJ I don't have any money to pay you. Because of my situation Will you give me some time please. once I get the job I'll sort your money. Thanks. ""The flat was trashed in 6 months but Cairds organised check out described this as fair wear and tear. There was multiple occupancy. The children of the tenants drew on the walls in crayon (fair wear and tear) the flat had significant condensation damage due to being heated to 26 degrees with no open windows. The tenants abandoned the flat. Cairds took the tenants side and when they abandoned the flat stated that I could not pursue the tenants for unpaid rent. Legally I could, but given the tenant had no money there was little point. According to reference the tenant was a Company Director - according to a neighbour he was a self employed taxi driver. I could go on but hopefully you get the picture. Whilst I am grateful for the goodwill gesture, thank you Simon, the situation would have been so much less time consuming and costly for me if Cairds had worked in a collaboratory manner with me. I also think it would have produced better outcomes for the tenants too.

GoogleI can’t thank enough my estate agent, Gavin Newton, who helped with the process of selling my property and buying a new one, through the Cairds Ashtead branch. I honestly don’t think this sale would have completed without Gavin’s diligence and professionalism. He followed up closely, through every step, he chased people for me when I was busy with work, in short he ensure this business was going to be a success. Absolutely amazing service, could not fault it. My property also sold very quickly, which was nothing short of a miracle given the current weak market. Thank you!

We worked closely with Oscar at Cairds for several months during our recent house purchase in Epsom. He wasn’t even our agent, he was acting for the vendors, but he was great - friendly and responsive and so helpful in moving things along with our solicitors when there were delays. If we ever decide to move again would definitely go to Caird’s (and ask for Oscar!).

I had challenging requirements in terms of location, budget and timeline but Carids staff were friendly and responsive above all they clearly understood my needs and provided absolutely amazing service. After having dealt with two other estate agents in the area before, we found Cairds Ashtead team the most proactive in all aspects of buying and selling. Ashtead team efficiently found us our buyer very quickly and most importantly found us our ideal property. Jo particularly handled a difficult and long sale process as it took over 5 months.
