I always got quick responses to emails and they endeavoured to answer any question I had promptly. They were also very accommodating in regards to viewing times, allowing me to visit the property on evenings and weekends where other agents were much more restrictive. Can’t thank them enough!

I am more than satisfied with the service provided by S J Smith. From Louis initially seeing my flat and he and Rob conducting viewings I was kept advised and given feedback at all stages. Once I accepted an offer Simon kept in regular contact, liaising constantly with the solicitors and advising accordingly. I would recommend S J Smith without hesitation and would give 6 stars if that were possible.

The level of service from Sam Colomb was poor. No direct telephone number to contact him or leave messages, slow to return phone calls, doesn't seem to read his emails often. Clearly SJ Smith do a good job for some customers but not all. Pity as very interested in a house but won't pursue it now.

Awful, awful, awful. Unprofessional behaviour, unlawfully withholding the holding deposit and disgusting attitude towards potential tenants. Arrived late to a viewing and then had three families at the same time, rushed through the viewing and pressure to put down a deposit. No formal information provided or explained. If I were a landlord I would not rent my house through them and will never use their services again. Formal complaint in process with Ombudsman and Trading standards.

Bad Lettings Agents. AVOID!!!

Extremely Unprofessional Letting Agent I had to deal with this agency for one of the properties, and the experience has been consistently unprofessional. Despite telling them multiple times not to contact me regarding future lettings, they continue to call repeatedly. When I asked the caller for his full name, he refused and said, “My name is Tom, and that’s all you need to know.” This behaviour is unacceptable, especially from a business that should adhere to proper professional and data‑protection standards. Their disregard for GDPR obligations is concerning, and I will be reporting this to the ICO. Avoid this agency. They will STEAL your money and put in a difficult situation. AVOID!

I recently sold my house through SJ Smith and had a really positive experience that I wanted to share. The team are amazing and went above and beyond to ensure that my house sold for the best and most realistic price.
