After using a different letting agency and having a terrible time as well as being told false and incorrect information I switched to Bairstow Eves, Sutton-In-Ashfield and I have never looked back. Sian made the switch so quick and easy it felt like I didn’t need to do anything at all and she keep me updated every step of the way. I feel valued as a customer and I have been looked after every step of the way from Sian, I feel like I contact her with anything and she’s always happy to help as well as quick to resolve any issues I have. Great estate agents. I've been with a few but these are the most helpful ladies! I previously rented with them before and any issues i had were sorted straight away. This time round again from the moment Sian showed me and my partner around the home to Amelia sorting everything else out and putting up with my 50,000 messages we've had an easy journey so far. Having just been informed that our application for a mortgage has been approved I couldn't be happier! Laura @ Bairstow Eves (Sutton In Ashfield Branch) helped us when we started viewing properties to buy. Laura was ever so friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Whilst we were viewing one of her properties she helpfully suggested that I consult a mortgage broker and put me in touch with Lee from Countrywide Mortgage Services. Lee helped me navigate my way to securing a mortgage as a FTB and explained everything so clearly. He was always ready to answer any questions and clearly is very knowledgeable in his field. We were new to the house buying process and Lee talked us through everything from start to finish. I'd highly recommend Lee and would use him again in a heartbeat.

House sale fail due to Agent mismanagement.

Unfortunately not a great experience with Bairstow In Kirbky-In-Ashfield. Of course they are very polite and all that, but I have to report that I believe they are responsible for a house sale falling through. What should of been a minor/nothing complaint from a neighbour was ignored for around a month despite them receiving daily phone calls and e-mails. Eventually when the pressure was too much for them to ignore they decided to contact the buyer in the closing stages rather than myself, which scared him off. I then had to chase up what was happening as they firstly ignored me and then denied knowledge of any complaint at all - acting as if i was bringing the news to them after I found out through the buyer coming to my home telling me it's off. The 'problem' could of easily be averted between me and the neighbour had I been told.

I have used Bairstow eves to manage my property

I have used Bairstow eves to manage my property for the last two years. However the deliverables that were set out when signing the agreement were not met, from increasing rent annually according to market rent, to making sure that licenses were in place throughout the two year let. I have both times went out and got the gas certification and then sent it over to them myself, this was a managed service and Ideally they should have provided this service if not a reminder at least.

Highly recommend! I used Bairstow Eves Sutton as a first time buyer looking to purchase my first home within Sutton-in-Ashfield and Countrywide to obtain my mortgage offer. Viewing properties: I was signed up to a number of estate agents in the local area but found Bairstow Eve’s volume of properties which met my requirements superseded all of their competitors. They were pro-active in sending mailers which were all relevant, as well as phoning me directly. Lisa would always go the extra mile to respond promptly and arrange viewings on properties she knew suited my needs. Obtaining an agreement in principle: Although i’d already attained an AIP from another broker, I made the decision to obtain my AIP and eventually mortgage offer through Country Wide to keep everything in house. Dan Holmes was my mortgage advisor, he was excellent, extremely knowledgable, helpful, answered all questions and concerns of which we had throughout the whole process. Would highly recommend. Completing the purchase: The process after my offer being accepted and the purchase completing was longer than I was expecting as a FTB but due to no fault of Bairstow Eves. Throughout the process, Lisa was pro-active with her updates, keeping me informed along the way and going out of her way to chase any 3rd parties involved in order to ensure a smooth transition. Lisa was open, honest and realistic throughout. I couldn’t fault her service in any way, she was always friendly, polite and re-assuring which is exactly what you want from an estate agent when you’re going through with a property sale. Additional call outs: Whenever Lisa wasn’t available, Corey and Dan at the branch would always do whatever they could to support me which was excellent. Shout out to you two too! 😁 I would most definitely use Bairstow Eves - Sutton and Dan Holmes as my mortgage advisor again in the future. Thankyou for all of your help!!!

Laura literally held my hand after my first enquiry and was relentless but very soft with her approach to help me find the right property. Bairstow Eves were 1 of 3 agents we invited to value our first rental property with the intention of letting it out on a fully managed basis. We had anticipated that Bairstow Eves would be the more expensive agent out of the 3. As it happened, their fees are very competitive, compared to the other 2 agents. From our first contact with the Bairstow Eves office, they have been responsive and efficient. Sian met us at the property and was punctual, professional, knowledgeable and came prepared with all the relevant information and market research to help us make a decision. It was a no-brainer to choose Bairstow Eves! Viewings were booked in for the following day, and in the space of a week the 'To Let' sign board had changed to 'Let By'!
