I completely disagree with the ratings. They are very unprofessional and very arrogant people to deal with. I had viewings of two properties with them. They hardly spend any time for you to show around the property as if they really don't care whether you want it or not. They are very arrogant people to talk on phone especially the lettings negotiator and the weirdest part is when I showed interest in the property, they said they have to get permission from the landlord. and they never called back. I think since they deal with so many properties, their attitude towards people is highly negligible and inappropriate. I certainly won't recommended these letting agents to anyone.

HoldenCopley are by far the leaders in this area (Nottinghamshire). I tried to sell my house for over a year and HoldenCopley sold it within a few months. I'm just using them for a second time and my house sold within a few days. Their office staff are so efficient and always ahead of the game, I've relied on them throughout the whole process of selling my house when solicitors have failed to call back. They get results and they communicate with each other effectively so they all seem to know who I am and quickly put me through to the right person depending on where I am in the process. Can't fault them. I would highly recommend them if you want a smooth sale, it takes some of the stress of moving away.

HoldenCopley were fantastic. They came round to value our house, we were pleased with the figure it was valued at so we agreed to market it. We had viewings booked in before it officially went on the market & it sold within 4 days. All the staff are great & couldn't do enough to help us. Towards the end, it got a bit tricky (no fault of the agent!) but they pushed & tried their best to sort things out as quickly as possible to get us moved. Would totally recommend to anyone! I went for a viewing from Holdon Copley the other day after a couple of various other viewings. After previous experiences of viewings I was expecting a good quality 1-2-1 tour of the house and an 'any questions' section towards the end. It couldn't have been more different. I approached the property and saw the car of the estate agent already there. I thought oh this is great, they are nice and early and well prepared. As we approached the property I saw that the door was open and saw people inside, assuming that they were the current tenants. But as I approached closer to the door it became clear that they were viewing also. Alongside more other groups of people in the house also viewing (it wasn't even staggered times, it was a free for all by the looks of it). It wasn't even the estate agent that welcomed us in... it was in fact the other people viewing the house that said 'oh just come in and walk around its fine'. To my disbelief we had a walk around and were finally approached by the agent saying we could ask him any questions if need be but we were free to walk around alone (never mind asking who we were). I know this is a very personal experience and view on the matter but I don't believe that this was a very good viewing experience at all - especially with past viewings with other agents being friendly, 1-2-1 and fully explained tours of the house. Not a rat race around the property with your potential competition of getting the house. I understand this will be a potential selling technique (first come first serve kind of thing) and it was probably to save time and money... however for myself this technique didn't go down particularly well.

Once I did find somewhere I liked and met a very friendly guy on viewing I was pleased however. They did contact me regularly, replied to all my calls and emails helping on various topics. Despite the initial concern, Holden and Copley have been helpful.

We had two houses to sell and came across Holden Copley when we looked at one of their properties. We were so impressed with their knowledge, approach and genuine attitude to helping us get the move we wanted that we decided that we would use them to sell our properties. With a week we had interest. Their developer contacts meant we were able to sell one property really quickly with no hassle and for a fair price. With the second house they contacted the right people to suit the property which meant we weren't wasting time with viewings that wouldn't come to fruition. All in all both Matt and Steve have done an outstanding job for us and have given our family the opportunity to move into the house we have wanted for years making the entire process easy and fuss free.
