Booking a viewing was simple, received a confirmation confirming my appointment which was a lot simpler than my experience with other estate agents. Been trying to get in touch with this agency for a week now to arrange some viewings and they are always too busy or away from their desk to answer the phone and they never return the voicemail messages I leave. I also requested viewings via their website and again heard nothing. UPDATE: After posting this the Area Sales Manager got in touch and apologised for not getting back to me and sent me her direct email address to contact her if there is anymore issues. So for that I have given more stars.

When looking for a house HoldenCopley were brilliant, they listened to what I was looking for, kept me informed on houses that were in my price range and had clear direction with their COVID policies. They also contacted me after viewings to get my feedback of the properties that I had seen.The agents were also able to answer questions and if they didn't know the answer, they were able to get the answers very quickly. They were able to provide me with a list of solicitors and supported me with a mortgage advisor. This was a godsend after working full time and being a first time buyer. All in all a smooth process

It seems as though people only get good service if they’re selling a property with Holden Copley. If you’re just buying from them, then there’s no care at all. Any disgruntles with service that I’ve made have been met with excuses and empty pre-constructed apologies. Holden Copley have been a mess from the start of our property purchase journey. Between selling properties we had viewed and were interested without telling us (I had to drive passed the house to see it had sold 2 days after our first viewing), to gas lighting and trying to encourage bidding wars - which I’m sure they could be reported to their professional body for - to telling me that they are “busy prioritising other completions” above my own. I’m sat in my car right now waiting for keys which I was told to collect - however the keys aren’t even here as our seller has not sent their funds through to the property above them in the chain? We paid our deposit and solicitor’s fees 2 weeks ago before the agreed completion date so that it would be ready on time. Why did Holden Copley not chase up the vendor’s solicitors? Their reason is that “it isn’t their job” - but it is? Isn’t that what sales progression is or have I been misinformed? Can’t even express my disappointment at the stress I’ve been put through due to the incompetency of the staff and their seemingly lack of care and compassion.
