When it came to selling our house I wanted to go with an agent that knew the local area well and David James seemed to be an obvious choice, whenever you see one of their for sale boards it is never long before the house is sold which I thought would be perfect. David came to the house to value it, it was December so he was honest about the market around Christmas and following his visit didn't hassle us or force us into making a decision which was a great!After choosing to go with David James we never looked back, once the house went on rightmove we sold it within a week and had viewings everyday! throughout the process Lorraine and Natasha have kept us up-to-date at every stage and clearly have great relationships with the local solicitors and other estate agencies which has really helped with the whole process. Like every sale there have been hiccups and delays but none of this was down to David James and they have always been on the end of the phone to listen to me stress or question anything I didn't understand.Not only have they been great agents but the recommendations of John Raybould in the mortgage shop and Yates & Co solicitors have also been fantastic and I cannot fault the service.We move next week but wouldn't hesitate choosing David James when (and if) we move again.

My company work with Estate Agents all over the UK. When it was time to sell one of our properties there was only one choice in town. Not only the best Estate agency in Nottingham, they are one of the best we have ever dealt with anywhere. David is a compassionate and attentive business owner and this tracks down to all of the staff I have had the pleasure of working with. MIchelle achieved a asking price offer on our property, not once but 3 times and saw it through to completion with immaculate style and poise. When we decided to sell our first home, we wanted to make sure we went with the right estate agent offering us both value for money and service. We actually met with 5 estate agents, both online agents and local agents with traditional offices ect. Any money savings were minimal at best and speaking with James and then Michelle at David James made our decision easy. We actually ended up selling and buying a property with David James. It can be an extremely stressful and emotional time both for the people buying your property and the property we were buying. Working with David James, who have vast experience and have probably dealt with every situation before helped massivily with the buying/selling process. Everyone we spoke to at David James was professional and everyone clearly works as a team. We can only say Michelle our main contact went above and beyond, she helped to sell our property at a price we wanted but also negotiate the price on our new property. We personally believe this is something that an online agent would not offer and if/when we decide to move again we would go with David James.

Having recently recieved a letter from David James advising that they needed to complete a flat inspection at 11:00 today, and that if i was unable to attend they would let themselves in, i have canceled my plans for the day.It is now 12:45 and thay have neither turned up or called to advise they will be late. I have tried to call to find out what the issue is but depite being open no one is answering the phone or responding to the messages i have left. I have called the sales team and they have also been unable to contact the lettings team.Terrible customer service from a company whose hold music promises to make letting simple and easy!

An estate agent that really did go the extra mile to get us the home that we wanted. Great service. Would be happy to use again. If I had to suggest an improvement it would be that they could have been a bit more forward about suggesting changes we could have made to make our property more marketable.
