Very kind attentive and supportive. This review is for Dee Dowan from Connells in Andover. Been a nightmare with Vendors not being proactive but Dee has always been there. Always been willing to go the extra mile liasing with Andover sales team, me and vendors. No question is silly or too much for Dee. Polite friendly and promt in reverting least to say understanding our perspective aa well.We are still persuing the purchase just coz of Dee and her working with us as purchaser and looking after us. I believe Dee is an asset to the team. Please keep up the amazing work. Thankyou again !

Bullied & Lied To!

Against my better judgement, I was persuaded to sell my house with Connells. It was the worst decision I made. One particular staff member was aggressive and bullied me throughout the whole time. They were only on the buyers side and did not help me at all. We were manipulated and lied to, and what is a stressful experience was made even more so by that staff members actions. I was on the point of a breakdown by the time we moved. I will never use Connells again, and would advise people to stay well clear.

I am unpleased with the service given and failure to refund a holding deposit, not only this however Chloe was very unprofessional about the property we were viewing as she had no clue about the property or the contract, Sam on the other hand had a tendency to change my words over phone call and had poor communication with his client and giving misleading information towards the tenants. There behaviour was as poor as my experience with this company

Big thank you to Jake Brewster and Tristan Schwartz with help and aid buying our first house! They truely went above and beyond to help lay out what we needed to do and how to do it when purchasing a property. We new it would be stressful and a difficult time yet they made the whole ordeal easy to digest and far less stressful. They were available for any questions any time and broke down the difficulties we may face in the acquisition in to small reachable goals. Without them we probably would of fallen at the first hurdle but their resolve to help and get it all done in a timely manner really pushed things to get down. We went in not knowing anything but thanks to Jake and Tristan we now know that if we ever wanted to sell or buy another property, we will definitely be using Connells again. Again, thank you so much to Jake and Tristan, we wouldn't have our lovely home without them

Connells Falsified my Valuation Report!

Connells did valuation report on my house recently. It is a comedy of errors by this company. Firstly, they tried to falsify my report by adding that my property was in a flood area and had previously been flooded. All of which was proven to be incorrect and instead of altering the valuation report to suit this they refuse.

Time Wasters

I booked in to view at property with Connells on Saturday at 11am. I arrived 5-10 minutes early, after a long journey and waited for the agent to arrive. When no-one turned up, I called the office twice but there was no answer, so I left a message. I eventually had to give up waiting as I had viewings booked in with another agency.

We are absolutely disgusted with the way this situation has been handled. We placed a deposit on a park home in good faith, fully expecting that we would be kept informed of any deadlines or time scales relating to the sale. The park manager had apparently relayed a time frame to the estate agent, yet this crucial information was never passed on to us.

Our experience with Connells as first time buyers has been great! Jake has done an amazing job at explaining everything clearly and thoroughly and answered all of our questions quickly, making sure we understand whats happening with our mortgage as we progressed through the sale. Jake (aswell as other staff members that we have spoken to) has been super friendly and approachable which made me and my partner feel at ease in what is a very daunting process. We both want to say thank you very much and we would absolutely use Connells again in the future!:)

Connells warndon villages worcester, all over you to sell, we sold and our buyers buyer pulled out, no one told us, lost our onward purchase (which i found out through another estate agent) resold which we were only aware of when my buyer turned up to tell us as we needed to find a house! re brought and throughout the whole experience did not hear off them once! My buyers estate agent did all the chasing (Hills worcester-amazing)

Awful to deal with

We were asked to quote them for some windows in the NG2 area of Nottingham, we agreed a price, I informed them that we needed a contract signing and a deposit paying, I was asked to send the paperwork to a totally different email address, it was a maintenance companies email, we then received a call from a finance company asking if they could buy the windows directly from our suppliers, this immediately rang alarm bells, so I informed them that we would no longer carry on with the work, we then received a 1-star review on here, awful to deal with, phone calls to my mobile at 9pm, constantly messaging on whattsapp, I genuinely believe that we have had a lucky escape.

This was my first ever remortgage, and from the very first call I made it clear to the advisor that I had no prior experience and needed clear guidance, step by step. He assured me he would explain everything properly but unfortunately, that never happened.

Very poor experience with Connells. I was quoted a clear fee to find new tenants which was supposed to include references, Right to Rent checks and the tenancy agreement. Instead, I received a statement with lots of extra and duplicated charges.

OMG! how patient Martin has been through our time of looking and trying to find out forever home, i think we are becoming part of the Connells family - we’ve nearly won so many times and got pipped to the post, poor Martin and Savanna have listened to me upset and then getting so excited when my offer got accepted by another estate agent “best and finale” (AH) only to be shopping and get a call saying someone had gone over my accepted offer how is this even fair! Jake has been superb from our first meeting back in August 2020. Obtaining out initial agreement in principle with no fuss, allowing us to start seriously looking for a home. When our plan changed he reacted instantly, remaining in contact throughout and adjusting the AIP to meet our new requirements. Once we found what we were looking for he processed our mortgage application, followed up with the provider, and kept us in the loop. A real pleasure to work with. Connells is a terrible agency that only cares about you until the contract is signed. After being exemplary tenants for over 2 years, we have received zero support or flexibility. Despite the standard practice in the UK, they refused any 'rolling contract' options, forcing us into rigid fixed terms.
