GoogleWe moved into a rented property this weekend. The process was smooth regarding Belvoir's involvement. The inventory was sent promptly and Max and Karolyn were very friendly and helpful when we went to pick up the keys.
The staff at Belvoir have been very helpful throughout the whole house hunting process, we viewed several properties with them and they were always punctual in the appointments and in any written communication.
Most of our viewings were with Max who was very informative about the properties, and always very happy to answer our questions. He suggested the house we ending up taking when an application of ours fell through and arranged a viewing the next day which was very much appreciated.
We're happy with the service Belvoir provided.

GoogleAbsolutely appalling service from Belvoir, particularly from Robyn, who has completely ignored serious health and safety concerns in my property. I raised urgent issues regarding a deteriorating ceiling, potential asbestos exposure, and water leaking through to an electrical light, yet despite multiple emails and follow-ups, I have been met with silence and inaction.
I was told an asbestos test would be arranged, but a week later, no one has even contacted me to schedule it. Meanwhile, more of the ceiling continues to fall down, which is especially concerning as I have a young child with breathing issues who has now been referred to a specialist. The negligence displayed here is completely unacceptable, especially given their legal responsibilities under the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012 and the Landlord and Tenant Act 1985.
If you’re considering renting through Belvoir, I strongly urge you to think twice. They are more than happy to take your money, but when it comes to tenant safety, they ignore serious hazards and leave you to live in dangerous conditions. Avoid at all costs!

GoogleDo Not Use. Please be warned that the owners of this franchise are dishonest and deceitful. I asked Belvoir to sell some property with tenants in situ. The manager and Directors of the franchise I made it absolutely clear that I would only sell to a landlord who wanted a long term investment complete with tenants as I wanted my tenants to be secure in their homes. Belvoir Andover manager and directors offered to buy the properties themselves, promising they were building up a portfolio of long term tenants in Buy To Let properties. I trusted Bevoir. BIG MISTAKE. They were the most inefficient estate agents i have ever dealt with, the sale took months rather than weeks. Then just a couple of weeks after completion they served eviction notices on both tenants. Owners of the franchise, who make all sorts of claims about all franchisees offering the same professional service on their website were not interested. Using Belvoir Andover was the worst property mistake I have ever made.

This morning I was booked in for my first house inspection with Belvoir, to check that everything was in good working order. I was visited by Emily Fryer around 11.15am and she was very pleasant and polite. I felt at ease with her coming to view the property :) Before carrying out the inspection, Emily asked if I had had one before, to which is stated no. She then proceeded to explain the process which was a lovely gesture, and the inspection began. Overall, it was a lovely experience and Emily was very helpful, taking away information with regards to the property and advising that she would inform her company and the landlord for a resolution.
Very happy, and glad I decided to rent with Belvoir :) Excellent service
