Used this company over many years , what a mess at the moment though .check out the Tennant , failed to get correct / complete meter reads , failed to forward invoices from SSE , so far I’m £320 out of pocket.Have tried to resolve ,phone calls not returned, a total failing at every level ! Looks to me from the ads on social media that they just don’t have enough staff to provide service . Proceed with caution !

I don’t even think this company deserves one star. Very unprofessional, communication is poor and Kent Holman needs re training as he cannot do is job and try’s to talk over you on the phone until he realises he can’t and puts the phone down like a little dweeb that he is. Waited over two weeks to get our deposit back from leaving the property and then was told we have been given a £195 cleaning bill when inspection report says the flat was left in good condition overall. This estate agent and the landlord Karen Haynes are thieves. Use another estate agent not this one as you will be robbed of your money and left in the dark with no communication. And when you ask the manager to call you back Jenny Phoenix well I am still waiting on a call which says a lot.

If I could give less than 1 star I would. We've had no hot water - our whole building, 21 apartments - since Thursday. No one has informed us why or how long its out for. We've called head office, property manager and every other form of contact we have to get an explanation or peace of mind. we were warned before moving into this property by the previous tenants not to rent with Thornley groves and now we understand why. We don't even have a proper lock on our door which we've raised multiple times. absolutely shocking and useless agency. DO NOT USE EVER!!!!!!!!

Shocking service avoid this place like the plague if you are a tenant. Me and my partner were looking to move into an apartment in Islington Wharf , the agents made us aware there were ongoing works on the building but boy was this an under statement , the building is a literal building site and will be until 2024. Neither the estate agents or land lord made us aware of the full extent of the works , we went to the site ourselves to see it plastered in scaffolding and full of work men. The agent Zeenath we were dealing with failed to respond to emails on numerous occasions , we also were due to view the property and when on route got a call from them stating the tenant had not handed over the keys so we couldn’t view the property , this could have been avoided by a courtesy call to make us aware the previous working day when the current tenant was due to return the keys but they couldn’t even bother to do that . Don’t waste your time with these clowns it’s not worth the stress and there are plenty more estate agents to choose from.

Although mobile phone numbers of agents are given no one answers it. The property that we received had severe mold and not habitable. Although we were promised all will be done prior to us having the keys. Then to top it up although they knew of the necessity for a key to the parking stacker none was issued even a month later causing us to be stuck with out the use of our own vehicle. Agents just want the money and blame the property manager and vice versa.

I have never received such a negative experience from an estate agency. They are completely uncontactable and will never response until you make a complaint. To get any maintenance issues resolved this will take months! They have no service of care or pride, the agency advertised and rented me a property with serious underlying damage. Which I later had to move out from half way through my tenancy due to the propery becoming unlivable with maintenance work ongoing whilst living at the property! No remorse for me having to move again. The second property I rented from this agency, due to completing the application in lockdown, they sent me photos of the property not covering 80% of the damage in the report, meaning I would have been charged for the damages at the end of the tenancy if I did not flag this. Terrible, terrible service - I can advice anyone to DO NOT RENT OR BUY FROM THIS AGENCY!

Unprofessional agency! Avoid buying or selling through them.Cancelled a viewing on me with under 24 hours notice. Don't trust any information they provide over the phone as legitimate, I was told by one lady named Kirsty that they had a Cash offer over asking price on a property and was then told by another lady Megan that the offer was under the asking and was in fact not a cash offer. As a buyer the customer service is terrible. They forget to send confirmation emails/follow up and you can never get hold of them on the phone. Definitely will not be purchasing any property through this team. I will also not be selling any property through this team due to poor salesmanship skills and awful work ethics.
