Fixlfo enables quick and easy communication between tenants, property managers and ourselves. We are often instructed by Emma Slabbert who is very professional and responsive. The whole Property Management team are considerate and quick to help to enable any necessary repairs to move forwards.

House sale

The first time I met Clare carpenter from the Monton branch was when she valued our house I found her extremely professional dressed smart very assertive and very approachable Clare guided us through the whole house sale superbly from start to finish especially when we were unsure of how certain things work.I have to mention this. my dog escaped out of the garden and Clare got to hear about it and really showed her concern by contacting her colleague Kelly who did all our viewings to go around the neighbourhood looking for my dog whom eventually was found safe.I can’t praise this young lady enough she is an excellent ambassador for thornley groves David Royle

Hit and miss - disappointed

Hit and miss. I've been using them for 18 months to rent out my appartment. Initially great, but then hard to get hold of with people changing. They decided to put my fees up by 16% without communication, this after they failed to adjust the rent properly. And take ages to reply, I'm still waiting on the former 2 weeks later. Not sure I can recommend them on their current performance. You've got to keep on top of them, and they are suppose to take the stress away. Disappointed.

While I have have had limited interaction with Thornely Groves Estate Agents overall, I am happy to leave a comment in the wake of a recent experience I have had with one of their agents, Tom Lee. Having been goging through a good few months in searching and booking viewings for a property, I ended up requiring Tom's help with viewing a property. To keep it short, he was quick with every single reply, asked the right questions, was swift in searching for the relevant information for me, and was always available and open for follow-ups.Hopefully others in the company showcase the same professionalism and care towards their clients; based on my experience I am happy to share this positive feedback.

Appalling service for students

Appalling service for students. The property was dirty on arrival, mould in showers and kitchen, the shower waste pipe leaks through kitchen ceiling and remains unfixed after three months living with a bucket to catch water. There’s an endless list of faults. Bills have not been paid by agents despite taking the bill payment plan, leading to final demands, cut off services, and no response from Thornley Groves to the actual residents about where their bill payments money has actually gone. DO NOT take a student tenancy with this company, it’s overpriced rental for rundown and barely liveable accommodation. They DO NOT pay your bills on the bill payment plan, it’s tantamount to fraudulent appropriation of your money for their profits. They DO NOT respond to students who message or call them, they ignore requests for required repairs, having left this particular house with a broken main door lock for weeks, it’s no wonder the houses are absolutely disgusting when you move in. The treatment of students is as if you’re substandard renters, when in reality it’s Thornley Groves that are a substandard company.Will take your fees and rent, but have a complete disregard for tenants, property management and buildings maintenance. Incapable of managing rental accommodation to any kind of standard, DO NOT USE for student housing.
