Beyond expectations!

When I went to do the viewing, Charters agent, Harrison, said to me "It'll be hard to describe how would it look like after refurbishment" and he was absolutely right!The flat was handed over to me on the agreed date in an excellent condition with the help of our pre-tenancy manager, Martha, and the amazing tenancy manager, Giovanna, who was managing the refurbishment and kept following up with us to make sure that everything is in place and our move is smooth (Big thanks you Gio :D).Charters team raised our expectations of any future tenancy!Thanks to the amazing Harrison, Martha, Giovanna, and Charters team! :D

Professional Company

We chose Charters because we thought they were the most professional agency in our area. They delivered on their commitment to reletting our rental property within the month of August. This was not straightforward as the property needed some repair and full decoration delaying potential viewings. Charters responded within the restrictions and we now have new tenants. We were cash buyers with no chain.The process took nigh on 5 months until completion.The estate Agent was faultless in the whole process.We had a very diligent young man Stephen Henry who worked for the after Sales team to guide us through every step of the way.The problems that arose were somewhat frustrating but the stress and anxiousness were alleviated by Stephen's very calm efficient manner. I recently sold my tenanted apartment, this had to coincide with the tenancy ending, as well as keeping my buyer. Fiona ELLIS was so helpful at all stages of my sale. Charters make the sales process calm and controlled despite everything that can happen. Simon Edser is the most knowledgeable Estate Agent you could hope for and actually cares for his clients. The addition of Kayleigh Ryan to support the process and chase everything was beyond value. Simon Edser, a real gem!

It is not often that you meet someone who is as dedicated to his work as Simon Edser is. He has a genuine passion for his job and does it with integrity and a remarkable joie de vivre. Aside from his impressive knowledge of not only the area but also of the history of each and every property he presents you with, he is unbelievably patient, personable, polite and most of all, hilarious. He always responded to any queries we had very diligently, even though there were times he was doing so out of office hours.Had it not been for him, I would have possibly used a different agency. I instructed Charters, Alton Branch with the sale of my home in a village just outside Alton. I met with Sarah Harris at my home address and found her to be knowledgeable of the area & current market. Sarah was very enthusiastic and relished the opportunity to market my property. It was a difficult time in my life but Sarah was highly motivated in achieving my goal of a sale. I had several other valuations that ranged in price, but felt confident with the valuation Sarah provided. It was a slow start around Christmas; to be expected, but Sarah and the team worked hard. Sarah really understood my situation and was empathetic to my need to find a buyer. This was achieved and my completion date is very soon. Sarah also went the extra mile for me when my return holiday flight was cancelled delaying return for two days. She took responsibility for ensuring a surveyor could access the property in my absence. I was immensely grateful for this. I would like to thank Sarah and the Charters team for all their hard work and Sarah for her support, tenacity and drive to achieve the sale.
