Perfect Service at Martin & Co Aldershot
Martin & Co Aldershot, and particularly James and Shannon, went well beyond the call of duty for my sale in Aldershot. They were there with advice and support throughout the entire journey at a time when selling a flat isn't easy. We got there and I am completely happy with the service offered and received. I would highly recommend this estate agent for sales and/or letting.

consistent and professional
I have just signed my 8th consecuetive yearly tenancy. Each year I get the same professional ,clear communication. I am pleased also to have the same agent, Katie, through out this time. This means professional relationships between the landlord, them and us is maintained very well. All legal requirements regarding the safety and standards of the property are always on time. This company have made any maintance reporting easy. It is ALWAYS dealt with promptly. I can track it all on the tenant account too so I always know what is happening and by when. I would highly reccomend renting through these for a positive renting experience.

Thank you to Lauren Boniface, an agent who presented a potential property in a lovely manner. Lauren answered all our questions and was happy to assist with further queries.

Great service!
Mohammed and Shannon were really efficient and helpful during our house purchase. They responded very quickly to emails and phone-calls, finding information out as needed. We viewed the house with each of these members of the team and they were friendly and knowledgable about the property.

Martin & Co Aldershot have been managing my rental property for over 10 years now and I can honestly say that I would recommend them 100% for their professionalism, attention to detail, customer service, and care for both tenant and landlord. I know that they are taking care of all the little things that come up without me having to get involved, and anything I do need to be consulted on is always dealt with quickly and to everyone's satisfaction. And the fact that I rarely hear from them means I know my tenant is happy too - my current tenant in fact signed a 2 year contract which is almost unheard of these days! In an industry that can be tainted with a money-first service-last reputation, Martin & Co are a breath of fresh air and stand head and shoulders above the rest. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to any landlord looking for a truly excellent letting agent or any tenant looking for a new home!

Martin & Co Ltd should be appointed as the UK’s worst property managers.
Hi Jozef. Thanks for the insightful review. Just to point out that Jozef is not a customer of Martin & Co and never has been.

Thanks to the team at Martin and Co.
Thanks to the team at Martin and Co Aldershot for helping us with the purchase of our first home. Shannon, James and the rest of the team have always been quick to reply, professional and approachable when we've had questions or issues in the chain to navigate. Good first experience of buying despite the many complexities involved in the process - especially during a pandemic!

Martin & Co have been incredibly easy to deal with, friendly and efficient service where nothing is too much trouble. I've mainly been dealing with Mohammed who has been great - nice guy, quick to arrange viewings and answer queries / keeping me informed. It's been an enjoyable experience looking for a new home with them and I would highly recommend them.
Thank you for the review Zardah, we will be sure to pass on your comments to Mohammed and the sales team.

Extremely unprofessional and defensive attitude. I went through hell by renting a flat with them. If you email them for any issues they respond with making fun of you instead of sorting out the problem. When you bring up valid points, and they feel like it'll cost them, they become defensive and act like children in a playground. They use landlords as a shield and can blame them for everything when the agent is in a sticky situation. They also threaten people that they won't give them a satisfying reference to move out. They did it with my colleague as well. I suggest, you use a more respected letting agent. Stay away from Martin and Co.
Dear Ken, Thank you for taking the time to leave a review on our page. Your name does not appear on our system as someone we have ever dealt with, simply put, we have never let to a "Ken Adams" before. Perhaps you have accidently reviewed the wrong branch of Martin & Co as we have nearly 200 independently owned and run branches across the UK? I would be happy to personally assist you with your grievance regardless of where in the UK it relates to, please don't hesitate to get in touch and ask for me by name. Kind Regards, James Wiggins Director 01252 311974

James has been great from the beginning to the end of our house sale. James is always professional, a clear communicator and above all, he delivered on what he believed he could achieve on the sale. He's always helpful and on the ball. He has a personable friendly approach and I have recommended him to my friends. A pleasure to work with! Thanks James!

Took the 550 holding fee. Told us we were getting the property, that we had passed all the checks and we were making more than what they requested. That they would contact us the next day so we could arrange a time to sign all the paper work. But the next day it was a different story. Was told we didn't pass the checks and didn't make enough, even though we were making 6k more than what they required. Felt absolutely robbed. Wouldn't recommend them to anyone.
Dear Ms Chan, Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. I can see that you did make an application for a lettings property at the beginning of August 2017. There are several inaccuracies in your recollection of events... 1) You were not charged £550. 2) We, as a business do not charge a "holding fee". 3) We would not furnish you with a contract to sign without a completed "Acceptable" reference application. It would rarely be the next day. 4) You were not told that you had "passed all checks". 5) The move in process was explained to you in writing and by signing Terms of Business you did enter into a contractual agreement with Martin & Co. 6) Your reference application was indeed "Declined". I can tell you that this was not as a result of your earnings, as you know. We have to be careful what information is put into the public domain, or indeed passed on to you entirely. This is in order to protect the referees who provide references “in confidence". 7) It was the landlords decision not to grant you a tenancy. This decision was entirely based upon detrimental facts un-earthed by your referencing application. There are very few landlords who would be willing to proceed with tenancy based upon a declined application such as yours. Despite the time that has passed I would be happy to discuss this with you further, either in person, or via telephone or email. This, (in my opinion) would be a more appropriate method of communication than a public forum such as this. Kind Regards, James Wiggins Director Martin & Co (Aldershot)

A thoroughly pleasant and straightforward process.
A thoroughly pleasant and straightforward process. Sam, our contact at Martin & Co in Aldershot, has been thoroughly professional, extremely helpful and an utter star throughout the whole of our dealings with Martin & Co. From first prospective contact, through viewing, queries, credit referencing through to preparing to move in, he has gone above and beyond to keep us informed and make the whole process as straightforward as possible. I would recommend Martin & Co and Sam specifically for any local tenants or anyone looking to move into the local area. 5 star all round.
Thank you so much for taking the time to leave a review, it is much appreciated and we will make sure your comments are passed onto Sam!

Great service
From the start, James, Shannon and the team inspired confidence with their professional and friendly approach. They understood our situation and achieved our goals with the minimum of fuss. While there's cheaper agents out there, I believe Martin and Co represent value for money- I'd certainly use them again as I've been really happy with the service.
Where the same review appears twice we show it once. We leave out reviews that name another agent or another of the brand's offices.
