Where do I start with these guys

Where do I start with these guys, they weren't even my estate agents when we moved recently, but James Wiggins went way and beyond to keep our chain together. Yes of course he was representing someone in the chain but when it looked close to collapsing he was the only one who stepped up and took control of the whole situation. No need to go into details but without James the whole chain would have fell apart. James is a stickler for communication, I am someone who needs to know what is happening and a quick call to James (more often he called me) we bought each other upto speed, again remember he wasn't even my estate agent. 5 stars and I 'doff my hat' to you James, top man.

How to turn a negative into a positive

My aunt had to go into a care home and we needed to quickly sell her Bungalow to fund her care. We live some 200 miles away and chose Martin & Co because we understood that they had sold bungalows like this before. Shannon Gill was our contact. Shannon quickly found us a buyer and all was going well until (literally) the roof fell in. We had had a burst pipe in the loft. Shannon didn't panic and helped us with her calm and professional approach. We lost the buyer but after getting the property repaired Shannon again found us several property developers prepared to take on the shell that was left. Again we found the right buyer and all was wrapped up in a matter of weeks. Sale went though today. Everyone at Martin & Co was on the ball. Shannon herself was exceptional. Always positive. Full of sound advice and calmness when we were at our wit's end. I would certainly recommend the company and, it goes without saying, Shannon herself.

efficient and professional

Martin & Co manages several of our properties. They are fast and efficient and compared to my experiences with other agents they are by far the best in my view. They come to you with solutions rather than problems. What prompted my review was our most recent purchase which had a tenant in situ. Martin & Co efficiently managed the sale and kept in contact with all throughout. As with any house sale/purchase, there are always questions and queries and these were all dealt with quickly and efficiently in a professional manner. Immediately after the purchase the tenant contract was signed with no fuss and I am confident they will continue to manage our properties for many years to come, in full compliance with the law.

If I could leave 0 star I would AVOID THIS AGENCY IF YOU ARE TENANT - NOT EVEN MENTOIN - BUYING PROPERTY It took them 2.5 months to chase landlord about our deposit and on top of that tried to get us on wear and tear and take most of deposit back - adding some imagined numbers for some flat maintenance and cleaning - which we did before moving. It took them months to give us new washing machine, they have never solved MASSIVE MOULD issue in our flat and only giving us some useless tips on how to avoid mould hoping it will help solve the problem. Poor flat conditions to start with - which caused them now charge us extra to maintain it which is ridiculous. Landlord himself is hard to even reach out and everyone hates him in neighbourhood because he is careless and neglect the problems. Agent Gemma only protects landlords rights - she didn’t even wanted to give us references which we desperately needed to get new flat - because landlord wanted to sell flat so even then she didn’t want to help and be human and have empathy. All you do is chase and spam untill they finally get things done. The whole experience was unpleasant and I do not recommend you to do any business with them. If you want to see your deposit back- find another agency and check their reviews before you commit to anything. This agency will get you even on tiny dust on the light bulb and charge you for it! AVOID

I rented a property through Martin & Co Aldershot for almost 3 years. I cannot recommend them enough as a tennent. Any maintenance issues were resolved very quickly (much quicker than i expected.) Wanting to move house look no further than the Sales team at Martin&Co

We were so over the moon with the service provided by James Wiggins when selling our home! He used an amazing photographer to take beautiful pictures of our home, it was put on rightmove at the top of the search page for 2 weeks before the open day and we sold within 48 hours of the open day for above the listed price. I would like to thank Toby and Shannon who have both been dealing with the sale of my in-laws' property and helping them to find a home for them to settle down and retire. My father-in-law works long hours 6 days a week and my mother-in-law is a vulnerable adult who is very nervous about the whole process of selling and buying. They carefully tailored their service around them both and handled the process in the most professional and sensitive way. They were always on hand to give solid and comprehensive advice regarding sale prices and the market generally; making themselves available to us for any questions we had and to talk us through the process and the offers we received. Not only did they manage, in an unpredictable market, to find a buyer that made a brilliant offer on the property but they did so in an extremely quick timescale. They have been so patient and kind even when we were unsure and looking around at other estate agents. I am so glad that we made the decision to instruct Martin & Co and I couldn't recommend them more highly. If anyone else (like I was) is shopping around and thinking about instructing other agents in the local area - stop.
