Keeping it altogether when things go wrong

I've used Mackenzie Smith in Fleet for letting a property and selling another one. They were absolutely excellent and so when I needed to sell another property I had no hesitation in using them again, but this time their office in Hook. It seems that when I've been selling, my luck has been running out and so you need a good estate agent to stop things falling apart. Kris and Simon in Hook are just that, really good. I had a buyer within days of putting the house on the market. All going well until the buyer pulled out. The house I was selling was a buy-to-let and at the time still had the tenant. They were very conscious and respectful of the tenant's wishes in terms of viewings. It was not easy, but they managed superbly and another buyer was found within a couple of weeks. All good. What was really excellent was that they really did their homework on making sure the buyer was able to buy. They also managed the estate agent who I was buying from, because without this excellent part of the service we may have lost the house we were buying. Even the agent I was buying from commented to me how professional and thorough Kris was. My buyer's solicitor could not have gone any slower, but Kris still kept plugging away at them. There were other problems relating to the sell and at one time I nearly pulled out due to considerable frustration. But, thankfully Kris held the deal together for a successfully completion. Like most, I don't like paying estate agents a lot of money, but these guys earned every penny. Highly recommended.

Best Estate Agent in Ash Vale

Best Estate Agent, who I very highly recommend. John at Ash Vale office was absolutely brilliant. He gave me great advice on how to make the house more appealing to buyers and quickly organised an open house event. We got a full asking price offer within days of our house going on the market, along with another lower offer. This was after it had previously been on the market with another Ash Vale agent for 6 months, with only 1 low offer in total. We moved quite a distance away from the area and had to leave our house empty. John organised weekly inspections to look after our property and take all the stress and worry out of being so far away from it. He even recommended a great local gardener to keep the lawn cut and save us making numerous long journeys back. John is a thoroughly decent and honest guy. It was so easy to be taken in by all the sales tactics and waffle from the other well known Ash Vale agent, but do yourself a favour and choose Mackenzie Smith. After dealing with both, it's a no brainer.

As a result of good teamwork a difficult sale was satisfactorily concluded

The commitment made to our sale by the Manager of the Hook office, Simon Dredge was exceptional. As a result of Mackenzie Smith being able to call on the expertise of a staff member from the part of the company that deals with land sales, some difficult issues were resolved and the sale of our property was achieved by Simon. This was despite the fact that there was certainly potential for failure due to some unusual access requirements. We would highly recommend the company.

Great customer care

We bought our property through Mackenzie Smith, and I wish we had sold our property with them too. From the get-go they worked hard for us to ensure we secured the property we wanted. Pierce kept in close contact with us and made sure we were informed of how our offer had been received etc. Once it had been accepted Pierce continued to keep us in the loop. A little while into the process Chris took over and I can Honestly say he earnt his money 3 times over with the amount of chasing he had to do on our behalf (as our buyers, our buyers solicitors and our solicitors were all at different points holding up proceedings). Bearing in mind he wasn't getting any money from us we were so pleased and grateful for his level of commitment. In comparison to our estate agents who were actually receiving payment from us, Chris did so much more work than them; hence why I wish we'd sold through Mackenzie Smith as well. We have been overall really pleased with the commitment and support we received by Pierce and Chris.

A first class service from Justin Smith

During our initial discussions with Justin Smith he advised he had a client who would be suitable for our property. We signed Terms and Conditions on 27th July 2016 and on 29th July 2016 received a full asking price offer which resulted in a completion on 30th September 2016. Throughout this transaction we were kept well informed and instructions were acted on promptly and professionally. Would definitely recommend!

Our experience from the Farnborough office has been second to none. From first meeting Steve he gave us confidence that he would look after our interests first and would do everything he could to achieve the best possible price for our property- which he did. We were always kept fully informed throughout the whole process from initial viewings, when we were always given unprompted feedback, to the nail biting process leading up to exchange of contracts. Phone calls were returned promptly and all stages of our sale were documented by email then followed up by letter. Excellent hassle-free service - highly recommend

We recently used Mackenzie Smith to find a property to rent at short notice, and Jayne was extremely helpful in making this a smooth process for us! We saw a property on Rightmove on a Saturday morning, called and arranged a viewing for later that afternoon, and moved in 1 week later! Other agencies had implied that this would be "way too short notice, not possible" etc. But Jayne made it happen! Upon moving, the high attention to detail on things like the itinerary, the moving in pack, etc. all made it a really great process. Honest, reliable and excellent client care/ service

From the first contact we had with Steve Panther he was extremely polite, professional and extremely approachable. We decided to instruct Mackenzie Smith as Steve was the only Agent that visited our property (out of 3 other local Agents) who seemed only interested in delivering the best service for us as a client rather than speaking negatively of other local Estate Agents. Steve also gave us clear advice as to what price we should market our property for and what sale price we should expect to receive.We were very happy with the photographs and property particulars produced for our property and felt that they were very informative to potential buyers.Steve always responded to emails and telephone calls extremely quickly and fully. Our transaction was more drawn out than expected but Steve relentlessly did all he could to make progress for us and to keep us informed.Whenever Steve was not in the office both Pedro and Gavin were available to help. Top estate agents in Ash Vale

I decided to sell my house using Mackenzie Smith having had them recommended by a neighbour. Nikki from the Ash Vale office came around for the valuation and was not only polite and professional but also was a really nice genuine lady. Within 2 days we had achieved a full asking price offer and began the wonderful process of house selling and buying! Throughout the whole process Nikki was a joy to speak too, she took my constant phone calls in good grace and kept me up to date with any developments with the sale. She was also a welcome barrier and reassurance against having to deal with other estate agents in the chain with their seemingly endless and unnecessary threats to pull out of the deal. When Nikki wasn't around any enquiries I had were dealt with quickly and efficiently by other members of the team and the whole process bar a few dramas was very pleasant. To summarise the experience I had with Mackenzie Smith was that it was a really personal service driven by a firm that definitely gives the time to make you feel that your sale is the most important one in the office. I would highly recommend this firm.

Mackenzie Smith were the agents acting for my vendors and all I can say is that I wish they were the agents we used to sell our house. Upon my arrival to the UK I started to search for accommodation, it was not quite easy exercise as I had to balance up my work and search time. Things have changed when I found some good apartments offered for rent by Mackenzie Smith (further MS). I never asked this question, but feels like MS never offer anything if they are not sure about the quality of accommodations on their list - whatever they proposed was of good quality and within requirement parameters pointed out by me. I'd like to mention Jayne Johnson's name, who always provided quality and honest guidance. She is very efficient, polite, very attentive, and handles all of the requests professionally.
