What can I say, as a buyer do not expect any customer care what so ever. Its pretty obvious as they are not getting any money off you so they really have no interest in helping you. We started off meeting David Jeffrey who was very nice, knowledgeable and friendly but he had literally just sold his share in the business. Director Simon Ley is arrogant bordering on rude. If you need a response , he replies 3-4 days later or rings you after 5.30pm, if you miss the call you cant ring back as the office is then shut so you wait another day. Picking up the keys the office staff were pleasant especially Lynda. They said if you need anything please do not hesitate to ask. Arrived at new house, boiler didn't work so rang the office to ask if they could ring the vendors to see if it was something obvious that we had overlooked. 3 days later nothing. Best of luck if you are buying a property from Woodlands. Read trust pilot reviews not all the 5 star ones on their webpage which are probably written by them selves.

Judgemental letting office I have been in desperate look for a flat and constantly messaging and asking for information about properties advertised , Every-time I will get emails and as soon as they ask a bout my history I have always been open and honest and then that’s it no more communication nothing but they will still reply to any email I send to enquire about other properties Stay away

GoogleWe live in the US and used Woodlands for the sale of our rental property so have never met Iain and the team. We chose to go with Woodlands because Iain took the time to explain the market, why he was pricing the property the way he was and fully managed our expectations throughout rather than just telling us what we wanted to hear. We fully expected we would need to reduce the price so it was refreshing that it was Iain pushing back on that idea and then to deliver a near asking price cash offer showed we 100% made the right decision. The whole process from start to finish couldn't have gone any better and we kept to the tight timelines required. We would definitely recommend Iain and the team at Woodlands if you want an elevated service in this challenging market and competitive industry.

GoogleI have stayed in mill street with this agent.i don't know why they are getting top reviews. They provided a property in mill street with mould issues and when raised the issue very bad response received from these agents. Now I am having health issues due to this property and neighbours in this property said previous tenants had same issues.They seems friendly initially but when you enter into agreement with them they tell landlord is responsible but they take all money from you. Before taking any property from them go for proper reviews and enquire with neighbours. It's better to wait than fell into a trap. Danny and Sam worst agents I have ever met in my life. I have stayed in Redhill for 5 years and dealt with a few agents and the worst experience from woodland lettings. Edited: we noticed that property getting mould every winter informed the agent instead of inspection they sent mould spray picture to purchase online and informed mould is due to tenant staying there seems like I am spreading the mould in the property we spent almost £100 on mould spray .my wife got asthma issue that we will deal with personal compensation later.

Further to your comments which are factually untrue. The property was not provided to you mouldy which can be evidenced via the inventory provided to you. The inventory confirms the property was in a good clean condition. As per the check out report produced at the end of your tenancy, the property was returned unclean with mouldy walls, ceilings and doors. As tenants you do have an obligation to return the property in the same condition as noted on inventory, allowing for fair wear and tear. This has not happened in your case, therefore your landlord is legally entitled to make deductions from your deposit monies. If you are not in agreement with these deductions, the Tenancy Deposit Scheme will be able to adjudicate after gathering evidence from both parties, their decision would then be final. I can see that you moved into the property in May, and sent an email in November advising of mould, at this time you were asked to send pictures through of the mould, these were not received. We also sent you over a condensation guide and asked you to follow certain instructions to remove the mould from the property, but no further communication was received from yourself with regards to this. A property visit was completed in August 2023, at this point no mould was noted in the property. We also have further properties within the development, these tenants have not reported any issues with mould in their properties. Samantha Knight Office Manager

He had a lady colleague, who I forgot to ask the name, who was very helpful to bring in the spare key when I got locked out of my room. Thank you!

GoogleI had the lovely Dani come for a house inspection, she is always a pleasure to see, very efficient and understanding,being a childminder she has to see lots of little ones and mess in a certain room but is not phased! Nice to speak to a dog loving person too. Highly recommend her.

I have worked with Woodlands as a landlord for over 15 years and have always found the whole team courteous and efficient, but Sam K has gone above and beyond recently, providing clear resolutions and explanations to some quite challenging issues.
