GoogleReally good experience with Jibran A at streets ahead South Norwood. To start off with he showed me a property that was much better quality than I was shown elsewhere. Then throughout the purchase process he was helpful, friendly, professional and highly responsive to queries etc. Much appreciated, this made the whole thing much less stressful.

GoogleBought my house through Claire and Peter at White & Guard, they were both really helpful and friendly, and Peter in particular was a great source of knowledge and support… he remained positive and calm through some stressful moments which made me feel more at ease. Buying and selling a house as a process is very stressful and not something I will do again in a hurry but it was made that little bit easier thanks to a great team! Thank you again!

GoogleCommunication sucks, don’t email back on a sale, if you’re selling don’t hear for months, recommend a solicitor that isn’t fully qualified that also doesn’t respond to phone and email. If you want to look at a property they don’t contact you back via email or phone even after calling, had to check with owners for a property to view that was empty and still didn’t call back or email.

She has been helping my disabled sister to find a suitable over 55s flat & to sell her own flat. Nothing has been too much trouble ; Elle has excellent customer communication skills & has at all times worked very hard to minimise the stress to my sister & keeping us both in the loop too. GoogleOver the years, I have used White and Guard for both my sales and purchases of homes. This is a team who have comradely with each other, making my journey so much easier, when I made a call and needed reassurance. My house sale was difficult,and arduous but Peter Stanley and the rest of the team made my experience easier, by always chasing up all my concerns promptly.They are a great team and in my eyes I give them a 5 star + rating.They have become my friends and in my view are the best Estate Agents in the whole of Hampshire. GoogleI cannot recommend White & Guard highly enough. From the very first viewing through to exchange and completion, the service we received was exceptional. Professional, proactive and genuinely personal at every stage. Claire and the sales team were fantastic. They were respectful, understanding and clearly had our best interests at heart throughout the process. They put in a huge amount of effort behind the scenes and ultimately secured a sale at our asking price in what proved to be a challenging transaction. Communication throughout was excellent. Peter remained in regular contact, keeping us updated and chasing solicitors, agents and other parties whenever required to keep things moving. And then there is Alistair. Never has the phrase "above and beyond" been more appropriate. He was relentless in keeping the transaction progressing, making calls, chasing updates and stepping in whenever needed. More importantly, he took the time to understand our circumstances and what mattered to us, providing honest advice and reassurance throughout what could easily have become a very stressful experience. Quite simply, without Alistair, I genuinely don't think this move would have happened as smoothly as it did. Knowing we'll eventually move on from our new home and won't be able to use White & Guard again due to being out of the area is probably the only downside to the entire experience. Thank you to everyone at White & Guard. We couldn't have asked for better.

GoogleOverall, we had a positive experience with White & Guard, and I want to call out the individual efforts of Claire and Peter, who were both genuinely helpful throughout the process. They were responsive, supportive, and made a noticeable difference during the more stressful stages of the sale. 5 stars to them. That said, there are a few areas where I think improvements could be made. The initial valuation and expectations set by the sales manager were overly optimistic, and in the end we had to reduce the price significantly in order to secure a buyer. For anyone selling in the future, I’d suggest taking the initial pricing guidance with a pinch of salt. Towards the end of the process, when things were time‑sensitive and I needed clarity on deposit figures, the agent we had been dealing with went on annual leave (no notice provided) and we referred back to a previous contact who unfortunately didn’t respond. Given how important & time sensitive that information was for the chain, it was a frustrating moment. Communication in general could have been stronger. As someone who works in a role where stakeholder engagement is vital, I did find it surprising how rarely phone calls were used. Sometimes a quick call would have resolved things far more efficiently than waiting on email replies. Despite these issues, White & Guard did perform well in securing the sale, and Claire and Peter’s support deserves recognition. However, the experience has left me questioning whether estate agents as a whole offer value for money in today’s market.

GoogleWe chose White & Guard to sell our house in January this year as when Mo arrived he won us over straight away with his enthusiasm and charisma. They actually sold our house in five days! The whole team were fantastic! Claire is cheery and polite and Charmaine (I think that was her name) pregnant at the time literally camped out at our house doing the viewings, they were all lovely and energetic. Once we had agreed a sale Peter then took over, he again was very helpful, knowledgeable, speedy and always happy and polite and always got straight back to me if there were any queries. I would highly recommend White & Guard estate agent’s if you want a great team that work well together and want to get the job done! Thank you guys fantastic work, now we can live happily ever after on our farm, you made our dreams come true ❤️ Debbie & Bryan Mobbs x

The professionalism and sense of care shown by every member of staff from the first viewing to completing was excellent, and special thanks to Peter who went above and beyond to make sure we completed. They were great at answering my questions, organising additional viewings and keeping me updated throughout the process, as well as keeping in contact with the other sellers/buyers in the chain above and getting things moving as quickly as possible once everything was in place.
