GoogleMy wife and I have been extremely happy with Westcoast Properties and all their staff including Megan, Scott and Anthony. Sam Yard was so helpful, professional, friendly and approachable. When we lost our buyer he did everything he could to relieve the stress on us and secured another buyer for us within the week. Mick and Barbara.

GoogleSam was absolutely fantastic from start to finish! He managed to get us in for a viewing so quickly, and we ended up making an offer at 9am the following morning. We never felt rushed during the viewing, Sam took the time to answer all of our questions and was incredibly helpful throughout. As soon as we put the phone down after making our offer, he got the process started straight away and kept everything moving. We honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I can only hope that if we ever purchase a property again, Westcoast will be the ones selling it! Thank you so much, Sam, you were brilliant!

GoogleRachael and her team at Westcoast managed both our sale and purchase. Our initial transactions were incredibly fast and well managed, selling and buying within six days of going on the market! The chain was pretty short but ended up being frustratingly delayed by the solicitors. Without the assistance and persistence of the team it would probably still be dragging on now! Communication was excellent and we were always kept informed of any progress. The team were really flexible and accomodating, in facilitating our excitement and providing multiple opportunities to revisit our purchased property prior to completion. We felt valued, listened to and had all requests accommodated instantly. Overall we cannot praise Westcoast in Nailsea enough and recommend them to anyone who is entering the market.

GoogleAs a first-time landlord, I was nervous about managing a rental property myself, which is why I chose Westcoast Properties' fully managed lettings service. While the onboarding team at the Burnham branch were helpful and professional, unfortunately the same cannot be said for the Lettings Management team based in Weston-Super-Mare. Throughout the tenancy, communication was extremely poor. As a landlord, I received little to no proactive updates and only obtained an inspection report after chasing for it. Basic responsibilities were also neglected, including arranging the annual boiler service despite my numerous emails and phone calls over the course of a year. Many of my communications were either ignored or went unanswered. Following the departure of my final tenant, I again received no communication regarding the checkout process, the final inspection report, or the return of my property keys. Once more, I was left to chase for information myself. When I eventually regained access to the property, I discovered damage to a window that had not been identified in the checkout report, along with missing meter keys. When I raised these concerns, I was informed that checking whether windows function correctly is not included in their inspections and “window handles would be deemed as landlord responsibility”. I found this response particularly unacceptable given that Westcoast held all sets of keys and had sole access to the property throughout the tenancy. As a landlord, I was unable to access the property myself during this period and therefore relied entirely on the inspections and property management services that I was paying for. To be told that identifying a broken window was my responsibility, despite not having access to the property and entrusting its management to Westcoast, was both disappointing and unreasonable. Overall, the lack of communication, attention to detail, accountability and professionalism throughout the tenancy made what should have been a straightforward experience unnecessarily stressful. A fully managed service should provide landlords with confidence and peace of mind; unfortunately, my experience was the exact opposite. Based on my experience, I would not recommend Westcoast Properties' lettings management service to other landlords.

Sam did all the negotiation in our recent sale after hours on a Friday evening, which was above and beyond. We were kept up to date every month with regular phone calls and emails. GoogleWe needed a valuation for probate, and West Coast properties seems very popular so we chose to ask them to do this for us. Our contact was Jack and he was very helpful and knowledgeable about the properties in our area, they have also sold many locally. We had to reschedule at first but Jack was really helpful and accommodating with another appointment. Jack attended promptly at the time agreed, had a good look around at everything, explained to me how the valuation was worked out and gave me information to have a look at regarding this. The valuation letter was emailed very quickly within an hour, we are really happy with the valuation and the service we have received from Jack and West Coast properties. Would definitely use again if and when needed, and would highly recommend.
