We needed a valuation for probate, and West Coast properties seems very popular so we chose to ask them to do this for us. Our contact was Jack and he was very helpful and knowledgeable about the properties in our area, they have also sold many locally. We had to reschedule at first but Jack was really helpful and accommodating with another appointment. Jack attended promptly at the time agreed, had a good look around at everything, explained to me how the valuation was worked out and gave me information to have a look at regarding this. The valuation letter was emailed very quickly within an hour, we are really happy with the valuation and the service we have received from Jack and West Coast properties. Would definitely use again if and when needed, and would highly recommend.

Really great support from Westcoast Property! We recently moved into a new property in Lockleaze, and several people from Westcoast have been incredibly helpful to us, especially Beth and Ali. Beth was so kind and clear today in explaining our rights, particularly regarding the garden which was already overgrown before we moved in. Ali, our property manager, has also been very supportive, offering great advice and guidance during during our move-in phase. We were also kindly assisted by Brad, Emma, and Jacques during our application process and key collection, they were all super friendly, professional, and accommodating. As a first-time landlord, I was nervous about managing a rental property myself, which is why I chose Westcoast Properties' fully managed lettings service. While the onboarding team at the Burnham branch were helpful and professional, unfortunately the same cannot be said for the Lettings Management team based in Weston-Super-Mare. Throughout the tenancy, communication was extremely poor. As a landlord, I received little to no proactive updates and only obtained an inspection report after chasing for it. Basic responsibilities were also neglected, including arranging the annual boiler service despite my numerous emails and phone calls over the course of a year. Many of my communications were either ignored or went unanswered. Following the departure of my final tenant, I again received no communication regarding the checkout process, the final inspection report, or the return of my property keys. Once more, I was left to chase for information myself. When I eventually regained access to the property, I discovered damage to a window that had not been identified in the checkout report, along with missing meter keys. When I raised these concerns, I was informed that checking whether windows function correctly is not included in their inspections and “window handles would be deemed as landlord responsibility”. I found this response particularly unacceptable given that Westcoast held all sets of keys and had sole access to the property throughout the tenancy. As a landlord, I was unable to access the property myself during this period and therefore relied entirely on the inspections and property management services that I was paying for. To be told that identifying a broken window was my responsibility, despite not having access to the property and entrusting its management to Westcoast, was both disappointing and unreasonable. Overall, the lack of communication, attention to detail, accountability and professionalism throughout the tenancy made what should have been a straightforward experience unnecessarily stressful. A fully managed service should provide landlords with confidence and peace of mind; unfortunately, my experience was the exact opposite. Based on my experience, I would not recommend Westcoast Properties' lettings management service to other landlords.

Can't fault Westcoast Properties, Abi in particular. Selling my father's home for him after the recent death of my mother. From start to finish Abi was sympathetic, friendly, professional and did an excellent job of guiding me through the selling process. Nothing was too much trouble, suggestions of tradesmen to do safety checks, professional cleaners and prompt answering of any queries I may have had. The sale started on the 14th October, after being on the market for a matter of weeks and exchanged and completed on the 1st December. All this being done remotely by email as I live in Cornwall. Would definitely recommend this estate agents.

She is very customer focused and from the minute she walked in to our house I felt like I know her for ages! She could tell straight away whether we will sell the property ASAP, what improvements we eventually could do and what kind of buyers we can expect. Emma was already very much oriented about the property and the area, well prepared. I came to Abi at West Coast, disheartened that I would never find a buyer that would complete on my flat. After being on the market for a number of years, with various online and local agents. West Coast did everything and more that they said they would, at a very reasonable price, almost half of the price another local agent was going to charge. That does not mean that they were not very professional,. They were much more than that, from finding a buyer quickly to monitoring and giving regular updates throughout the sale right up to completion. They are without a doubt the best agent I have ever used. I am just sorry I didn't get in touch with them much sooner.
