GoogleFocus of the organization is heavily on their bottom line and profit. Staff are not responsive and very unprofessional. The tenants are not their priority as long as you can cover your rent at the end of the month. Do very good research before signing a contract with True Penny or you will regret it. I know I did.

GoogleReview for Flat 55, Cavatina Point: The landlord of this property is the biggest scammer. He sent us fake invoices from a company called “Your London Maintenance.” The company doesn’t even exist. It’s funny how he thinks that the invoices are believable. There’s no way a company can decorate the whole place, remove dumps and furniture, supply a new chair, bed, and all of that at once. If you search for the company, it doesn’t even exist. I’ve attached the invoices so that everyone can see what he did. Moreover, he told the company to write on the invoice that the window cracks are due to the tenant’s fault. I anonymously called the number on the invoice, and they told me that the crack is due to the window being poor quality and has nothing to do with me, as it is an internal crack. Do you truly think we’re four years old? I was asked to remove my previous review in exchange for support, but I faced even more issues. This has been the most unprofessional company and landlord I've encountered. The landlord and Mariem was a nightmare. I understand that the cost of living crisis is hitting the landlord hard but trying to withhold more than my entire deposit (£3,393) and falsely accused me of damages is not right. Thankfully, the DPS helped me recover my money. It's disheartening to see a landlord in his 50s abuse his position toward someone less than half his age. I’m grateful that my new landlord and my new estate agent is absolutely amazing and is the exact opposite of Truepenny’s. (Edited to add the evidence of invoices and phone call)

GoogleI would like to say a massive thank you to Sophie and everyone else I had to deal with at Truepennys throughout my tenancy .They’ve always been very professional and helpful,every time we had an issue it has been reported and dealt with in no time ,also as we are in a process of buying our first home we’ve been given all the time we need to complete it before we have to move out which makes things so much easier considering how stressful this process is and I very much appreciate that .I would highly recommend them .

GoogleAbsolutely five star service throughout our rental journey from the initial meet to the final agreement with Truepenny's. Sophie has been absolutely fantastic throughout in keeping us up to date, being very patient with filling in online forms and supporting us with our questions and queries, answering emails and phone calls quickly, honestly and efficiently. Such a wonderful friendly team that have made our rental journey as easy as it could possibly be. I would highly recommend.

GoogleWe used Truepenny's Charlton to list our property for sale and chose them after meeting with their branch manager Hayden Ellis. The team were professional and courteous and provided a good and timely service. They gave us an honest appraisal of our property and a valuation we felt we could trust. We were pleased to use a local estate agent and felt their knowledge of the local area was a real benefit when receiving enquiries. We would certainly use them again in future!

GoogleI cannot sing the praises of Sophie Payne at Truepenny’s enough. From her attention to detail to her exceptional customer service. Every ask or query was met with promptness and gentle assurance. Sophie took the time out of her own hours on a Friday evening, to carefully guide me through the moving in process. She liaised with the landlord and facilitated the inventory process with great aplomb. What would normally be a rather stressful period was cushioned by Sophie, she kept me abreast of each stage of the lettings process. I am forever grateful.

GoogleValencia is one of the worst consultants I have run into. She is currently the property manager in our flat; she is unresponsive to our emails about repairs, blames us for bringing these issues to light, and will take no accountability for her own actions (or inactions). Our dishwasher and washing machine were not working which we noticed immediately upon entering the flat. We logged these issues on the platform Truepenny’s requested. These issues were then ignored along with our repeated emails. We had no choice but to contact their contractor directly. We were then reprimanded for doing so. Valencia was on holiday so didn’t respond for weeks and then was unapologetic about the fact that nobody helped us in the mean time and proceeded to be super rude and condescending on the phone (shocker!!!). Would not recommend.

GoogleWith so much bad publicity around estate agents these days, I have to say that all the people we came across from this branch were so professional and very helpful. We only rented one of the properties they manage for less than a year, but every time we needed to sort out or asked about something, they were promptly to deal with us in positive manner. Especially a big shout to Georgia for all help.

GoogleFantastic service with Truepenny's from Connor and his team! I have sold two houses with Kyley and I have to say her personal touch, great communication and negotiation skills are impressive! Wallace was fantastic whilst dealing with the sales process - extremely proactive and helped to keep positive communication with all parties. Highly recommend.

GoogleWe had a great experience working with Anastasiia during our flat rental process in London. She was always professional, shared clear information, and kept the process moving with regular updates. Even though there were a few bumps along the way (for reasons out of her control), her support and follow-up made everything so much easier for us. We really appreciated her help and would definitely recommend her!

She would always kept me informed of important information regarding the tenancy process and was very professional. She is an asset to Truepenny's and will be sorely missed - well done and good luck! GoogleWe met with Kyley because we weren't getting anywhere with our previous estate agents. Kyley and the team got us all set up super quickly with lovely new photos. They got a tonne of new people through the door and we had an offer in a week! So pleased we made the move to Truepennys - they are a great team.

My partner and I have bought and sold, rented and let numerous properties over the years, and he is the only agent that we have ever dealt with that we have no hesitation in recommending unreservedly. GoogleI was in a house-share situation where one housemate felt entitled to do whatever they wanted, without considering my needs or space as a fellow tenant.Eg: Her male friend entered my room when he has no right to be there.That is invasion of privacy as I was naked underneath my sheets. Eventually, I reached my breaking point and realised I wasn’t willing to tolerate the situation any longer because it’s my home too, and I deserve to feel comfortable in the space. Georgia at TruePenny advised me to send potential roommates to the other housemate for approval, which was completely wrong. The contract only specifies that I need to replace myself, with no mention of the age or gender of the individual. This led to the other housemate becoming overly confident, knowing that TruePenny was on their side. Of course, they were, since the money was still coming in and they had no regard for my experience as a tenant. I wasn’t getting my money’s worth because I had to live with someone who made the situation unbearable. It was a mistake I’ve learned from the hard way. I feel I was unfairly treated by TruePenny, and I wouldn’t recommend them for house-share issues. They seem more focused on the money than the well-being of tenants when problems like this arise.
