GoogleFirst off they were advertising a studio for renting as 1 bedroom (no windows or doors, just a wall near the bed). They called me that the landlord is happy with my details and rushed me to sign the monies breakdown doc, so I signed it after I double checked the flat size was okay for me to work from home. Then there was a Christmas break and I didn't hear back from them for 7 days. After I attempted to reach them that I received the below message from them. Unfortunately the landlord has agreed to go with another offer as he understood that you were still continuing to look at other properties I was travelling so I emailed that I would like to take the flat, but I found it odd that they sent me a docusign form from the same address but only told me it's not available after a week from different email address. I don't recommend this agent to tenants.

I am sorry that you have felt the need to write a negative review about your experience with our Greenwich Branch. Your offer was ultimately declined by the landlord; however this was not due to our best efforts to try and secure it for you, I will briefly explain to clarify; The landlord was willing to accept the asking price to offer you made to rent the property when you first viewed it based on the information provided. You then advised that you were not ready to commit to proceeding further and requested to view the property a second time. Upon viewing the property for the second time you advised us that you would like to proceed to the next steps but that you also had one other property to view. We advised you that you would need to decide swiftly as there were other applicants interested in the property. However, we promptly sent you the initial monies breakdown document and requested that you pay an initial sum of one weeks rent to secure the property. Some 8 days after first viewing the property and three days after requesting it, we had still not received the requested one weeks rent from you to secure the property. In the meantime, another tenant put forward an offer that was acceptable to the landlord and paid one weeks holding deposit to secure it within a few hours of their viewing. GoogleI am a landlord residing in Hong Kong. Miss ana Apostu has taken over to look after my flat at Vertex Tower. She has been very helpful and thoroguh in following up with the move -in problems encountered and left behind by the former agent. She nicely introduced herself to me and the tenant and has taken intiatiave to follow up on the issues. In the recent incident when the tenant asked for a rent reduction claiming ; that the flat is in a bad condition, Ana has offered her advice and opinion that there is no reason for a rent reduction, she also took intitaive to do an inspection of the property and made report to help justify that the flat is in good conditiont; and she had made arrangments to fix up those items needed. We felt so safe registering with Truepenny because of her, especially as students who rarely get taken seriously, we couldn't thank her enough! GoogleMe and my friend have been renting with this agency for a while now, we had a few small issues in the beginning, but overall it's really good. Our new property agent, Ana Apostu, has been really helpful to us. She helps us with everything we need right away, is always nice, responds quickly. Having this kind of agent is a blessing! Highly recommend

GoogleEver since Truepennys took over the management of my rental property my life has become so much easier, and this is without doubt due to the effort and assistance of Ana who looks after it for us. She is simply excellent at her job, nothing is too much trouble and she replies and handles any queries straight away. Would definitely recommend Ana if anyone is looking for an agent to manage their property!.

GoogleI highly recommend Truepenny's. We had a major fire in our building and needed to find a place to rent so we approached Truepenny’s. It was a very stressful time for us - Sarah and Ana were absolutely brilliant, they were extremely friendly and communicative and they really helped us out. Ana and Sarah really went the extra mile and pushed the insurance company so that we could move in quicker and it made a huge difference. I couldn’t recommend them strongly enough, they really go above and beyond.

James, Hayden and Wallace were all very responsive, kept us up to date, and consistently followed up timely on any matters that popped up. GoogleI HAVE JUST SOLD MY FLAT, I HAVE NEVER DONE THIS BEFORE AND TRUEPENNY'S NURSED ME THROUGH THE WHOLE PROCESS WHICH WAS NOT WITHOUT IT'S PROBLEMS. I WAS NEVER LEFT WONDERING WHAT WAS HAPPENING AS I WAS SELLING FROM A DISTANCE. HAYDEN AND GEORGIA LOOKED AFTER EVERYTHING FOR ME WHICH INCLUDED VARIOUS REPAIRS AND AN ODD DISASTER ALL TAKEN CARE OF IMMEDIATELY. I CANNOT THANK THEM ENOUGH.

GoogleWould leave 0 stars if I could. When these people don't get their way they resort to spam calling during work hours and harassment. Some of us have real jobs you know (that don't revolve around screwing rental tenants out of money... like actual jobs that add worth to society and aren't propping up rich landlords' estates), and can't just pickup the phone at 3pm.

Dear Ray! The issue you raise is regarding your deposit dispute which you have with your landlord. I have tried to contact you on two occasions in the last 24 hrs.. We have not attempted to ‘extort rental tenants out of a deposit’. You have a dispute with your landlord, you initially agreed to some deductions and have since withdrawn your agreement. We have advised that we are simply communicating the instructions provided by your landlord. You have the full protection of the deposit protection service where your deposit is securely held until an agreement is made or until the independent adjudicators make a decision. The adjudicators will review all the evidence including the check-in and check-out reports and will make a judgement from there. We do not receive any financial benefit or loss when it comes to the return or deduction of a tenants deposit, this is a matter between the tenant and the landlord. We have acted in accordance with the deposit protection service guidelines and our professional code of conduct at all times. I would like to request that you pursue this matter through the designated scheme (the DPS and the alternative dispute resolution service) which is there to protect this exact scenario. I would also like to request that you remove all negative reviews relating to the this matter. Please feel free to call me to discuss.
