GoogleWe recently completed our tenancy with Strettons Agency and unfortunately had a very negative experience. Their behavior was unprofessional, and they acted in bad faith by trying to charge us a cleaning fee upon checkout. In reality, we had thoroughly cleaned the flat and returned it in better condition than when we moved in. In fact, the property was not properly cleaned at the time of our check-in. Fortunately, we had kept videos and documentation from both check-in and check-out. When we made it clear that we were prepared to pursue legal action, we were able to recover our full deposit. If you find yourself needing to rent through this agency, be extremely cautious. Keep detailed evidence of everything, and do not rely on their word.

GoogleWe worked with Bryn at Strettons to sell two leasehold flats at auction. He provided us with great service, guiding us through the whole process and ultimately succeed in selling both flats at a strong price despite the flats having some challenges around being in a mixed use building and being on short leases. To anyone with a similar property to sell I’d recommend Bryn and Strettons.

GoogleThought they were great to begin with then realised they were not! If you're thinking of renting a residential property from them consider if you'd like to live with a hole in your kitchen roof for weeks without being fixed, if you want your deposit properly protected in a scheme and if you want your deposit back without taking action against them. Seriously incompetent staff, rude and disrespectful. The flat we rented was one of 3, "refurbished" (if you can call it that) office buildings (Oh yeah, they take their commercial buildings and flip them haha!) with what I am guessing is no insulation, black mould throughout and a roof that held 4 inches+ of water which caused a leak and the roof to be taken out, then left. I had to fight for my deposit back because the idiot of an estate agent that went on holiday didn't send the new tenant a contract. No cover, no communication. All lacking in any kind of critical thinking. The list goes on.... AVOID!

GoogleI've been trying to contact someone to view a property on Surge Avenue, Walthamstow since Sunday. Both me and my partner have sent requests on Rightmove and we have called every day and been forwarded on to people until it's gone to voicemail. I have been forwarded to voicemails for Michal, Brinn and Henry. I have called reception several times and been told I need to fill a form, and can only enquire by email. I have emailed and received no response. If you own the property on Sturge Avenue, Walthamstow E17 and would like a buyer for it, please contact me. This is my Google account. Thanks, Toby. GoogleI found Strettons very unprofessional when I put two properties on auction resulting in waste of a lot of money and time. The way they advertised the properties in the catalog was extremely unprofessional with poor quality of pictures and other contents. Despite of complaint the retake of pictures was not done and they were re-listed for a second auction without making any efforts to improve anything. I am surprised that no manager or a supervisor is there to ensure or review the quality of contents that can fetch good results. Their aim seem to be just to charge the fee and fill in the blanks without much efforts.
