GoogleI have nothing but praise for Steve Gooch Estate Agents. They look after you from start to finish. In particular, I would like to mention Mandy who regularly sends us properties to look at, keeping us appraised of properties that could suit our requirements, Evie who carries out the viewings and is always such a delight and very professional, and Jo, who has helped us with our sales progression and is very pro-active.

GoogleThe lettings team (especially Tim and Alixandra) have always been fantastic during my 5 year tenancy. Any issues were dealt with promptly and the communication was always fast so I knew exactly what was going on. Viewings were always notified well in advance as well as the gas safety year checks. Thanks again for such a painless rental!

GoogleSteve Gooch estate agents were fantastic however they made a recommendation for a solicitor that have been absolutely terrible. Costing me a lot more money too. This review is based on my complete experience not just the dealings with the estate agents.

We are, however, really sorry to hear that your opinion of us has been affected by the actions of the solicitor in the final stages of the process. The solicitor in question was recommended as a local, independent firm who has historically received great feedback and communicated well, but we completely understand your frustration with how the service felt compared with the costs incurred.

The process quickly turned stressful, delays, jargon, and moments where we genuinely considered Googling “how to buy a house without crying.” Enter Jo: calm, clear, and completely unflappable. She guided us through every twist with patience and precision, and gentle encouragement when I needed it. Thanks to her, we made it through the chaos with our sanity (mostly) intact and a new home to show for it. GoogleI've had Steve Gooch as letting agents and selling agents for my property for 20 years and have found them to be superb in all aspects. In the many years of letting, inevitably, problems happened but they looked after my own interests - and those of my lessee - professionally and on a compassionate level for all involved. It felt like I was talking with family members and nothing was too much trouble. As selling agents they continued their personal approach to the sale. Great communication, listening to what I wanted and making, what can be a daunting process, flow smoothly. I won't pick out individual names because the whole team have been so good. Thank you All!

GoogleI recently contacted Steve Gooch estate agents as they had sold my grandparents’ property, and I wanted to keep some of the photos that had been taken. Mandy responded straight away and was so helpful, she not only sent me the original images but also included a few extra ones. I can’t tell you how much those photos mean to me, and I will truly cherish them. GoogleI recently viewed my dream property with Glen Webb. Very sadly, I didn’t end up getting it, but I still wanted to leave a review because the service I received was genuinely excellent. From the moment I booked the viewing, everything was handled smoothly and professionally. Glen was warm, approachable, and took the time to explain every detail about the property. Even though I didn’t secure it, I never felt dismissed, instead, I felt supported and kept well-informed at every stage. Losing out on this home was devastating, but the positive experience I had with Glen has given me confidence to keep searching when the time is right.
