The lettings team (especially Tim and Alixandra) have always been fantastic during my 5 year tenancy. I've had Steve Gooch as letting agents and selling agents for my property for 20 years and have found them to be superb in all aspects. In the many years of letting, inevitably, problems happened but they looked after my own interests - and those of my lessee - professionally and on a compassionate level for all involved. It felt like I was talking with family members and nothing was too much trouble. As selling agents they continued their personal approach to the sale. Not only did we get such a quick sale, the negotiation on the purchase price blew us away and we sold for more then we thought we’d get. All thanks to Tom, Jo and team for their fanatic work. We had a flow of constant viewings and they clearly did a fabulous job on marketing our house given how quickly it sold for. Something we’ve NEVER experienced from an estate before is how proactive Steve Gooch Estate Agents are. Jo was keeping us constantly update to date from the initial viewings, to working with our Solicitor, our buyers Solicitor and the vendor to keep things moving, chasing for updates and keeping us in the loop at all times. The guy showing me around was late arriving and certainly wasn't what I would describe as friendly or welcoming. He spent the entire time playing with his phone. The only time he really said anything was when he told me there's already an offer on it and it's close to the asking price. It would have been nice if I was told that before driving for 5 hours to see the place.
