Me and my flat mates are first years at Royal Holloway and we have had an awful encounter with this estate agents. They're unorganised, rude on the phone when I asked if it would be possible for them to send across a contract before we have to pay the deposit, they say they're going to email you or call you back within a certain time frame and they don't. Then when you call again they said "we didn't check whether the house you viewed today was even going to be up for renting next year", but didn't bother to let us know that until we had to call again. They are expecting students to pay deposits without seeing any kind of contract first, and without any knowledge of the terms and conditions, or confirmation of how long the contract will be for. I've been completely disappointed with their professionalism and I have given up with them, the entire estate agents is a red flag and I recommend students in the future stay far away.

Scam and Completely Unprofessional Absolute joke of an agency! I wouldn’t be surprised if their properties don’t exist at all, total scam and fraud. I booked a studio flat viewing and was sent to the wrong address for a room. Two others were there saying the room that was advertised was en-suite but they were shown a single room, one even paid a £200 holding deposit for the wrong property! The agent then admitted he didn’t have the keys to the studio. Later, I got another viewing confirmation through SpareRoom, rearranged my work schedule, only to be told the property isn’t actually available. Even the agent said this happens often and he’s looking for a new job because of how the agency operates. Completely unprofessional, misleading, and a waste of everyone’s time. Avoid at all costs
