I bought and sold through SJ Smith's in Ashford recently and can highly recommend them! They were really helpful and totally professional throughout the whole process, and nothing was too much trouble. I dealt with Chad the Manager, and Rob, Louis and Nicola who is based in the office. They are a fantastic team, and Nicola was brilliant at chasing things up, and giving me updates etc. They accompanied every viewing, gave you the feedback, and always return your phone calls! I can 100% recommend them, especially if you are thinking of selling your property! Thank you Chad and your amazing team!!

Amir is such an asset to SJ Smith; he remained professional throughout and guided us expertly through the whole process. Selling our house within 10 days and then navigating the sale to exchange. Done with determination and good humour...even when the going got tough! Thank you Amir!

Unfortunately we experienced nothing but disappointment from SJ Smith. They never managed to get a single offer on our property in three months. When we switched agent we received two offers within two weeks! They simply do not have a network which would mean they could find buyers from outside the region. They also left my front door unlocked after several viewings and we found them extremely difficult to deal with. In my opinion- avoid.

Highly focused, independent, supportive and professional. SJ Smiths will go the extra mile and more to sell your property for the best price. Highly driven, knowledgeable staff. Sales progression needs a little improvement but Philip was beyond excellent to close out and just a pleasure to work with.

It was less than 10 days from initial meeting to accepting an offer on our house. We worked with both Simon and Amir, and both have great passion for their jobs, which helps give confidence, both as a buyer and as a seller. In terms of the review mentioning not having a wider chain, we certainly didn't find this a problem, in fact we had 20+ viewings in the first week, so couldn't have coped if there were any more!!! And the fact they are focussed on a smaller area, means they are experts in this area, which was the key reason we chose SJ Smith over others. Thanks!

We recently bought our house through SJ Smith and Amir was a legend through out, keeping a good overview of teh whole process and providing a great contact between us and the seller, often actually providing more information faster than our solictors. Also dealt with Philip who was equally informative and professonal throughout. Great professional service and would recommend Amir and his team to anyone selling in Staines

Surprised by the 1 star review Lisa posted, almost as though she has mixed up her agents - or possibly a long, long time ago? I live in Kent and I am a director of an estate agency business there, so I know what to expect and what good should look like. (I have no professional relationship at all with SJ Smith) Jay and the team were always professional, diligent and polite with excellent communications throughout the process regarding viewings and feedback. My property was listed with my own agency and SJ Smith (following another Staines based agent which did not go well). Viewings were exponentially greater and dare I say it, the communication much better. We had a couple of buyers that, for no fault of the agent, fell through - its been a long process. They have kept tenacious, patient and optimistic through many viewings. We have now found the right buyer at the right price. I have absolutely no reason to doubt that they will progress the sale diligently (for the people out there who have not sold recently, this part is much more important than the marketing) - but I will post a subsequent review should they not. Anyway, in summary, an excellent agent with a great team - you will not go far wrong, they are really good. And don't be tempted with the 'cheap' offerings out there, experience suggests that once you bolt everything on, it is no cheaper, and you will not get the follow through. Also, agency fees pale into insignificance if you have a good negotiator getting the right price and then successfully progressing your sale. If you want moving to be cheaper, talk to your MP not your estate agent - HMRC are the culprits! PS. all gone through now - would not hesitate to recommend

I would highly recommend S J Smith Estate Agents. Amir was particularly helpful throughout the whole process of purchasing our first home. In particular he was really good at liaising between our solicitors, the seller's solicitor, and the seller, to ensure the purchase and communications were as smooth as possible. I would definitely use S J Smith again in the future. Thanks!

SJ Smith were excellent, I would recommend them to anyone that would benefit from a great service. Amir was our dedicated agent and he went above and beyond in helping us sell our property and even assisted us in our purchase, that was over 100 miles away by communicating with the other estate agent we purchased from. Superb!

We recently brought our property through SJ Smith Staines, our main point of contact was Amir and the customer service we received from our first viewing to completion was excellent. Any questions we had were instantly answered and it made the whole process stress free. By the end of the process Amir felt like more like a friend than an estate agent. I would highly recommend S J Smith when purchasing or selling a property!

I had a seamless experience purchasing a property through SJ Smith's Ashford Branch. Chad was exceptionally helpful from the get go and was always quick to respond, he actually personally recommended the property I bought to me and it was an absolute gem so I'm very grateful to him. I'd also like to thank his colleague Nicola for all her assistance throughout the process. SJ Smith are a class act and I would have no hesitation in using them again.
