GoogleGreat service from the start from Simon and his team. From the outset they lined up many viewings that they conducted with efficiency. Communication was great throughout with particular mention going to Amir and Amanda who handled most of the viewings. After an offer had been made, at our asking price, they continued to monitor that the sale went forward smoothly. Taking 4 weeks from putting the house on the market to accepting an offer, then another 8 weeks to completion, we thought this was pretty quick, and exceeded our expectations. Have recommended them to friends soon looking to sell locally.

GoogleAn excellent service from valuation to completion. I felt under no pressure from Simon, who provided me with the valuation. We had a sensible and realistic conversation about the asking price and I appreciated the fact that he did not feel the need to enhance the asking price to gain my custom or pressure me into signing the contract, as one other agent did. I was informed about each and every viewing and always received feedback. Both Simon and Amir were a pleasure to speak to on every occasion and provided me with advice which proved valuable. Once I had accepted an offer, Nicola (the sales progression manager) was amazing. She was patient when I was not and helped with communication between all parties. I would recommend SJ Smith to anyone who is selling their property.

GoogleMember of staff Louis. What an absolute horrible human being. Stay clear. Apparently has a crystal ball that tells him the future. Very dissapointed with the service. I have been buying properties for 9 years and never been treated in such an awful manner. Behaved like a child which is not what you want when spending hundreds of thousands of pounds. Free advice, be professional and treat people in the right way, you represent your company but it appears as though you believe you own the firm and can afford to lose potential business. I wish I was as rich as you to be able to do that. Life would be much easier.

GoogleI worked with Chad, Louis and Nicola on the selling of my property in Ashford, and the purchase of a new property with them also. They are honest, decent professionals that have a lovely friendly approach and I cannot recommend them enough. I dealt with other estate agents in the area, with tough sales pitches, and sometimes forcing properties on us, but SJ Smith only contacted us with properties we would like; also they took amazing pictures of my property which really made it easy and quick to sell for a good price in this market! GoogleWe were fortunate enough to be purchasing and selling through SJ Smith, the level of service we received from both the Ashford and Staines office whether it be relating to the sale or purchase was excellent. Communication was great and we were always regularly updated. These guys do far more than market a property and show people through the door, they were chasing surveyors and solicitors all the way along the chain. For me SJ Smith completely defy the estate agent stereo type. Chad and Simon, it was a pleasure dealing with you both.

GoogleWe bought a house through SJ Smith and received great service. We were updated regularly regarding new houses on the market and were not shown anything that did not meet our criteria. Our needs were understood, which made the process a lot easier. Once we had found a property, Nicola was amazing in ensuring the process was as smooth as possible, keeping us updated on any progress and trying to arrange completion as quickly as possible. All our queries were answered and we would definitely recommend SJ Smith.

GoogleThe best estate agent in Ashford by far. Experienced agents, not like the majority of others in the area who send round 16 year olds to do viewings who don't have the first clue about selling anything let alone a property. Highly recommended, got me a sale in difficult market conditions and were great throughout the process all the way to completion.

GoogleWe sold my father's home after he passed away through SJ Smith, Chad and his team Nicola, Robert and Louis were fantastic very proactive in following up viewings and enquiries keeping us informed every step of the way, eventually finding the perfect young couple for my childhood home. I would certainly say they are the best agents around the Ashford area and can highly recomend them.

GoogleBought our first home with SJ Smith. From viewing to completion they were terrific. Answered all questions, gave us all the information we needed and due to our chain taking a while they were always chasing people on our behalf. At times we felt like we were pestering them for updates cause we were keen to move but they were always super friendly and kept us in the loop. Can't fault them. Would recommend. Thanks very much.

GoogleAs a landlord trying to rent my property I dealt with Michael in the Lettings team and found him to be polite, professional and courteous at all times. He was incredibly proactive and showed several prospective tenants the property within hours of it being listed. GoogleI would have no hesitation whatsoever, recommending SJ Smith Estate Agents as a very professional and friendly service. Chad dealt with my sale personally and from the very first enquiry call I made, he was immediate in his response times, keeping me fully informed, all the way through the process. I would never have believed that in 3 hours from photographing the property, he would have managed to get a viewer and subsequently an offer! Everything was a wrap 3 days later with me accepting an offer for the asking price!

GoogleWe used SJ Smith to sell our property. We had previously been on the market with another agent for approx 4-6weeks and received no offers at all. We received multiple offers through SJ Smith within the first two weeks and eventually agreed a full asking price offer with Louis via a cash buyer. We have also been well looked after by Louis with our subsequent search, he has been extremely patient with us and never given up. We hope to buy through Louis and SJ Smith in the future. Chad and Rob were also great throughout both our sale and continued search. They have been the most pro-active agent in Ashford that we have registered with by a long shot.

GoogleI'm so pleased we chose SJ Smith to sell our property, they have restored my faith in estate agents! Chad, Louis and Nicola were all professional, knowledgeable, friendly and so helpful. They promptly answered every question we had, reassured us when we were worried and helped out in any way we needed. Nicola was absolutely brilliant and made me smile on a bad day with her cheerful and reassuring emails! I know she was doing the same for our buyers, keeping them updated and happy. I wish these guys were closer to where I live, as I would love to have used them for the current sale of my own house!
