GoogleVery bad communication . We rented a house that was quite expensive. They promised professional cleaning, which they lied about and it wasn't done. They were very kind as they took a £ 11,600 deposit. Then the communication stopped. The house has many problems but never responded.NegativeProfessionalism

GoogleWe found SJsmith fantastic at getting people through the door for viewings and there seemed to be lots of people interested. They seem solely focused on the sale. We found there wasn't one agent allocated to sale so had a few agents showing people around and sometimes the agent didn't have all the details about the house. Slightly disappointing that once property sold we didn't really here from them and they didn't always return calls, which is a shame.

GoogleMy husband and I were first time home buyers and we bought towards the end of 2020 from a family who was represented by S J Smith. Thy were professional, quick to respond and helpful through every step of the process which had a lot of ups and downs due to various other factors. Special shoutout to Nicola/Louis who were the people we personally dealt with - you guys are awesome!

GoogleS J Smith were excellent! From offer to completion they kept me informed, chased people on my behalf, and were very helpful. Rob and Nicola were knowledgeable, reassuring, friendly, and always available to ask questions to or chase for solicitor updates. I highly recommend them!

GoogleI sold my shared ownership property using SJ Smith in Ashford Middlesex. These guys got me buyers within 3 days of listing and sold in less than a week. Interviewed a few estate agents but Chad from SJ Smith had outstanding presentation and was knowledgeable. Chad Louis, Frankie and Nicola are extremely professional, helpful, reassuring, knowledgable and efficient. Can’t fault these guys. Always available to answer any queries and keep you informed throughout your transaction. Highly recommend SJ Smith to family, friends and anybody searching for the best estate agent in the Spelthorne area. So grateful.

GoogleFrom start to finish SJ Smith have been excellent.All the team were friendly, professional and efficient.Communication was excellent.and the marketing and organisation of house viewings were efficient. We received immediate and frequent feedback. Once our sale progressed we encountered some difficulties. Nicola the sales progressor was fantastic and did over and above what could be expected to help us solve the problems and finally complete our sale.Would highly recommend. Thank you to all the team.

GoogleI recently sold my detached property in Ashford, Middlesex using S J Smith. Throughout the whole process they have acted extremely professionally and were very quick to respond to any questions or queries. They presented a number of realistic purchasers and when I had a purchaser pull out very late in the day they had a very good reserve prospect that enabled me to save my own purchase. They were always willing to accompany prospective purchasers meaning I was not expected to be present and when the transactions neared conclusion liaised extremely well with all parties, chasing solicitors for progress but not over doing it. I highly recommend their services.

GoogleWe bought and sold through SJ Smith and can't recommend them enough. Everyone at the office is great but we knew we were in safe hands with Louis from the off. He was so knowledgeable and took the time to listen to what was important to us. He was always available to talk things through and help solve any issues. Nothing was ever too much trouble and he continually went over and above - genuinely a really nice guy! Nicola was also amazing, so efficient and made what was a very difficult process as painless as possible. We are very grateful to both of them for all of their help!

GoogleMy partner and i recently bought our first home from S J Smith and from start to finish they were excellent. From arranging a viewing, to keeping us updated throughout the whole process and being able to answer all our questions and queries in a very timely manner. There was a number of difficulties with the sale, however Nicola went above and beyond in helping these difficulties get resolved, keep us in the loop, offer support and guidance and ensure that the sale happened as quick as possible. If not for Nicola i honestly don't think the sale would have gone ahead! Thank-you Nicola and thank you S J Smith!

GoogleWorst estate agent ever. From the get go the viewing was cancelled 3 times then arranged after I said I'm making a complaint for wasting my time having to travel 100 miles for viewing but I was given 5min speedy viewing like racing. Then move in time cancelled and postponed twice. They promised to professionally clean the place but they didn't see attached disgusting photos. No fridge freezer in place and paint was not done although agreed. Agent wasted 1 whole day of my annual leave time and logistics which has financial implications on me. Contact all their managers and no one acknowledged the complaint. When I asked for the manager who promised all will be ok they said he's not there and they don't have his mobile number. Toilet was stained. Carpet soaking wet. I do not recommend this even to my enemy.NegativeResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism, Value
