GoogleI just did a view with an agent, and this is by far the worst experience you can get from a property agent. (72 Alveston Dr. I think her name was Nicola) When asked if she is always so unpleasant to customers, she gives an excuse for being ill. (if you are sick, why are you at work?). I like the house and the area but the agent.... I can't even think of dealing with her ever again.

GoogleRecently tried to view a property on canton walks but was told the landlord had found a tenant himself only to find the same property still online and reduced by £100 per calendar month, when I asked why I was told because I am on housing benefits which is unlawful and very upsetting

GoogleThe staff at Rooftops, especially Angie and Louise, are extremely kind and helpful. They helped me every step of the way when I wanted to rent a place and the communication was very timely and efficient. Took me just about 2 days from the viewing to get all my background checks done and paperwork started. Can’t recommend them enough!

GoogleWe used Rooftops for a year’s renting and had an excellent experience with them. They were supportive with our needs when we were looking and took us round immediately when the property had been put up to let, meaning the stress of finding somewhere was diminished. There were some maintenance issues in the property but they were fixed swiftly. It did need things replacing which were fixed instead and thus would only last short term, however that’s a landlord decision rather than the agency and they completed the repairs very quickly, working around our work schedules. Correspondence is simple via email and phone and responses are timely. We worked hard to clean the property and ensure it was left in a great condition, this was recognised and our deposit was returned quickly, too. The best experience I’ve had with an agency in Macclesfield.

GoogleThese people are not recommended. They didn’t take care of the house (heater broken in Christmas Season, shower broken, no tv antenna for 6 months…) and finally when I left the house they wanted to charge me £230 for cleaning. I have pictures and I will take legal actions. My advice, don’t rent from them and if forced to do it, please take pictures of everything for your own good. Thanks.

GoogleTerrible experience, absolutely NOT recommended. They will aay you need to speak with your landlord. I strongly don't recommend Heatherfield Court.

Mr Melato - we are unsure why your have left this review and why you have contacted all your friends to add reviews as well. Rooftops helped you to leave the property early, even when we were not managing it. We have asked to speak to you but you were not inclined to do so. We have no control over what a Landlady, who manages her own property, wants to do, and can only advise in these situations. if you were not happy we would have preferred to talk to you but, as afar as we are aware, you left the property early with a full refund.

GoogleWe don’t normally leave reviews, but felt we just had to, given the terrible experience we had with this letting company. It’s a terribly run business. We had the unfortunate experience of being tenants and Rooftops managed the tenancy. At the very beginning the warning signs were there - the previous tenants warned us how bad they were at fixing any problems, but we just thought they were disgruntled and took no notice. Well what were were told turned out to be true! The house was dirty when we moved in & appliances broken so no checks had been made. If anything stopped working it would always be a battle to get them to sort these issues out. Jan was so difficult to deal with (the previous tenant had warned us about her). She is very curt, has zero empathy and is unprofessional. The other ladies are much nicer and pleasant to deal with, but it’s Jan you have to go through. We could not wait to move into our renovated home. In summary, our tenancy with Rooftops was too stressful - it didn’t need to be. The staff need to be more accountable. We will never ever recommend them to others. There are much better local letting companies and if we had to rent again in the future we would steer clear of any properties connected to rooftops. The only good thing to come out of the tenancy was making really good friends with the neighbours who we still see now!

GoogleReally disappointed. Called and spoke to a very friendly lady, who took my details and said they would pass them on to the relevant person. A few days passed and no response. Phoned during opening hours and it went to voicemail. I left a message with my contact details and no call back after another week. If it wasn't for the very helpful and pleasant lady that took the initial call, it would have been 1 star. A stark contrast to my dealings with them a number of years ago. Not good Rooftops.
