Asked them to remove a for sale sign that had just been put up outside of my property (on council land without permission) only to be laughed at and be told that I could speak to their boss. Appalling and will remember if I ever sell.
Edit - they knew exactly where the sign was as Emma told me it was council land before I even said anything. Shame you made things so difficult. Really wasn't necassary
2nd Edit - OK, I am very glad you have listened back to the 2 calls. You may want to note that calls are recorded when you answer as you have to make it clear. Ill let that drop though. It seems like you have no care for your legal obligations. I see the sign has finally been removed. Assumeably thanks to prompting by the council. And from listening back you will have heard she laughed at me twice and I called her out on it. From your attitude to this you are fully deserving of the 1 star review. All you had to do was remove the sign in the first place.

All of our calls are recorded. I have reviewed the call and Emma did not laugh. You appear to have deliberately called us from an anonymous number so that we couldn't call you back and give a resolution to the problem. As an agency, we do not want anyone to be upset by our approach and marketing. We would have called you straight back if we had your number and sorted the problem. However, you were unwilling to give us this. We erect many signs every week. I wanted to establish which board was being referred to and what your problem was with the location it had been placed in. Very disappointing experience with Rolfe East Northfields. You literally have to beg them just to apply for a rental property, sending emails, calling and constantly chasing for updates. Even arranging a viewing requires phone calls, as email communication is almost nonexistent.
The agent during the viewing also came across as very dismissive and uninterested. He clearly didn’t want to answer questions and gave the impression that he simply could not be bothered. It made the whole viewing feel uncomfortable and unprofessional.
After finally receiving the application form at 13:19 the next day, the property was already marked as “let agreed” by 13:23, just four minutes later. It’s impossible to take this process seriously when potential tenants are treated with so little respect and given no real chance to apply.
Overall, the whole process felt very unfair and misleading, giving the impression that the rental process is not conducted in a transparent or honest way. Extremely poor communication and very unprofessional service overall.

Thank you for sharing your concerns. We are sorry to hear that your recent experience did not meet your expectations. We take complaints seriously and have reviewed the circumstances.
The property attracted a very high level of interest, with many enquiries coming in by both phone and email. This meant that unfortunately it took longer than usual to respond to everyone. You were booked in for a viewing and given the same opportunity as other applicants who attended during the allocated viewing period.
Regarding the viewing, we expect all staff to provide a professional and helpful service. We have reviewed the feedback received and note that another attendee praised the way the viewing was conducted. The agent’s request regarding parking was intended only to avoid inconvenience to local residents.
Most attendees made offers and although the property may have appeared as “let agreed” online, it remained available until a holding deposit was paid. By sending the application form, the agent was therefore giving you the opportunity to make an offer while the property was still available.
I hope this clarifies the position. If you would like to discuss the matter further, our Sales and Lettings Director would be happy to speak with you.

They stayed in regular contact, kept me updated, and even let me know about properties before they officially came to market.
