Arranged a viewing. 10 mins late due to traffic. Rang office when arrived to be told agent already left! No call or message to advise they cannot wait. Very bad customer service 😔

Firstly, Read Rains sold the property which is the primary objective. The commission price was competitive so we have a positive result. The market has been very slow this year so I appreciate why it took longer than wanted and we had to reduce the initial asking price significantly. The staff are always polite and courteous.On advice from Read Rains we engaged with their online auction service. This was a waste of time. Communication with the auctioneers was almost non-existent and no offers were made at any price.We reverted to traditional sales approach. There was confusion regarding an initial offer which never materialised but eventually we secured a sale with a different buyer.The solicitors service which partners with them on a no sale no fee basis, engaged with us but after being engaged, they informed that they were not able to cover our purchase property. This also wasted some time.Lastly, I felt that it was always me pushing for updates and progress and Reads Rains reacting. Other agents I have used are more proactive. This could have been somewhat due to a turnover of staff at the particular branch but such things are part of business and should be managed.

After calling for a viewing an arrangement was made within a couple of days atva convenient time. My offer was placed and accepted without having a long drawn out wait. I was sent an email informing me that i would be looked after and informed throughout the process.
