Having found myself renting for a few years with other Estate Agents i found a house that suited me perfectly and moved in as soon as possible, From the Onset the Staff at Reeds Rains were nothing short of Spot on and nothing was too much trouble, Looking after the house as if it was my own came naturally and my periodic inspections were soon extended without any trouble. i have dealt with a number of Estate Agents Previously and i can honestly say Reeds Rains Bedworth are simply the best, courteous professional and above all very helpful, my only regret is i wish i had found them earlier. keep up the fantastic work and i wish you all the success - not that you need it, Best Regards Mark C

I sold my house with the Bedworth branch of Reeds Rains and could not fault the service from start to finish! They sold my property within a week and were really professional and friendly throughout the whole process. They dealt with everything from arranging viewings right through to completion which made my life much easier when working full time. Someone was always at the end of the phone and nothing was too much trouble. I would definitely use Reeds Rains again - A great service which I would highly recommend.

Nearly a year on from our initial …

Nearly a year on from our initial listing with RR I am still so unimpressed I felt the need for this review. And no I am not a continual whiner, if you look at my other reviews they are predominantly 5 stars.As they were agents for the new homes we were interested in we listed with them without comparison, rather stupidly I told them just that, I will not be so naive again. Initially things seemed OK although a bit more guidance on price may have been helpful, instead I suggested a hopeful figure which, hands up, my fault, was a bit optimistic. There was a pretty poor spelling error on the particulars which I pointed out twice but never got altered, but that isn't going to stop the house selling to be fair. 4 weeks on with no feedback (they do email Web stats but they are meaningless and despite asking for an explanation it was never forthcomming) or viewings I go into the office and drop the price £15k, a big drop but if it was £5k wrong they would have viewed and offered. And lo and behold viewings and a sale. Quickly followed by the chain falling apart. They wanted to leave the sold board up as our buyers were straight back on the market and would sell almost immediately, seemed odd but in hindsight.....we lived facing a very busy road and a sold board with their name on is priceless advertising! 3 weeks later and no communication from RR I took the sold sign down and told them, within 3 days 4 viewings the first of which offered and we accepted. My biggest mistake was to let them cancel the other 3 viewings, my words were "I trust you to act professionally and in my interests", what an idiot. Our 'perfect buyer' turned out to be anything but, we were never kept informed and pushed on with the reservation of a new build home, solicitors and all. 12 weeks later and our third exchange of contracts I call RR to say I trust all is progressing finally to be told "ah, she hasn't even asked her solicitor to do any searches yet"!! Next day I took their sign down went into their office and asked for my keys back, their parting words were priceless, "she really still wants to buy your house", oh really......thereby loosing circa £2500 on the new house purchase. Very poor communication, bordering on being missleading. Oh and one month later we went with another local agent who sold it 3 times in 2 days eventually to a real 'cash buyer' who was turned away by.....RR

Dissapointing, Tedious and Expensive

Dissapointing and tedious. I bought a property through RR. The process was slow and mediocre but in an industry where it's predominantly poor I was patient and can say it was 'ok'. I gave my new investment to RR to then let out and manage. Again the lettings process was alright, ongoing management was a little slow but a few of their people have a good service. After the second year, my tenancy was coming to an end and no one seemed to care. Myself nor my tenants heard from RR despite chasing until after the end date of the tenancy. By that time I had contacted my tenant myself (obviously) and made our own arrangements. Once RR eventually realised they'd dropped a ball, rather than apologise and look to win my business back, they proceeded to pursue me for a termination of service fee. I will not be using their business for any future transactions or management of my portfolio. And should I come across a property I wish to buy advertised by them I will go out of my way to locate the owner and deal directly with them. Not good enough.

I used reed rains back in 2013 to sell our property which we did with in 3 weeks. The property we were buying was advertised through another estate agents but their service was so amazing they took full control of the purchase negotiations on our behalf and we landed our next beautiful home which we are still in now. This was a huge help being at work full time. I cant recommend them enough and we will definitely use them in the future if we decide to move properties. Absolutely lovely and genuine bunch of people too. We mainly dealt with Andrew but also spoke with Phil a few times. X

Having struggled to sell our property with another agent, we moved to Reeds Rains following a very positive meeting with Jake (Branch Manager). Jake and his team have a very positive outlook to the market place, and have proved to be extremely pro-active with regards to finding a buyer. We have seen a significant increase in viewing throughput in a short amount of time, which has resulted in securing a buyer in just 3 weeks. The level of communication from both Jake and Lee has been excellent, and have both been available for consultation when required. I would thoroughly recommend their service.

Hopeless service, disinterested customer service, sharp practice over fees

The irony of this is that I AM an estate agent, albeit from out of the area, so to have been 'had over' so badly by this Company is doubly embarrassing! My only excuse is that I left the dealings to my wife, and it was difficult for her being faced with such an accomplished deception. Usual story with amateurs such as this. Turned up and overvalued the house. - £540k against an eventual value of 450k. Promised the earth to justify his quoted 1% fee before writing it on the agreement at a FIXED FEE, rather than the 1% quoted, and based on the asking price that WE set, having recognised that his assessment was preposterous. My wife questioned him on the fixed fee at the time and he said, 'oh don't worry. If it goes for less we'll drop it then.' Naive perhaps, but my wife is a lovely trusting person, and I wasn't there AND didn't check it after the event. He also sold us the 'professional photography' for £150. Two visits later by the photographer the photos were so bad that we asked for a normal office camera to be used by the manager which, under strict guidance, were much better. Two WEEKS later the details were still not available due to missing information and incorrect room measurements. The 'service' that followed was, frankly, laughable, from start to finish, despite the promises made at the beginning. During the whole process they spoke to my solicitor ONCE, and later claimed that was an acceptable standard of service. It was so bad we resorted to having to deal directly with our buyers. Even at the eleventh hour, the day before we actually exchanged, the Manager told me exchange wouldn't be taking place for another week. It turns out he didn't know it was possible to exchange on a nil deposit. Now, its true that a member of the public might not understand fine detail like that, but it's reasonable to expect the self-proclaimed expert himself to know the fine detail, isn't it? My issue with this, actually, is not that the sale didn't go through, it did. But the lies he's told his 'customer service' department to get out of it are the epitome of why the industry has such a bad name. The customer service was just as bad as the selling experience. The first two letters of complaint I wrote were to the area manager. He didn't even bother to acknowledge them. The 'Customer Service' person then only answered the points she wanted to and ignored the others despite being asked directly for an explanation as to why and a response. Nothing. Then sent some cut and paste whitewash of a response trying to justify the branch behaviour. Shame on you Reeds Rains for supporting this practice and accepting the manager's lies as truth. My advice to EVERYONE either on the market with them or even THINKING about using them is, think again. Or at least be aware what you're getting yourselves into.

Have recently let my aunts house with Reeds Rains. Throughout the whole process the team were professional, helpful, patient and supportive. Once I gave them the go-ahead to advertise the house was promoted and prospective tenants shown round, vetted and the necessary paperwork completed. Full of idiots

Rented a bungalow in January 2016...Nothing but problems from the get go. Issues with damp in the house constantly enquired about, builder even recommended certain repairs that were never done. Deposit protection certificate never provided. Speaking to several different people that completely fail to communicate! Absolutely ridiculous.

Can't praise enough

Had my property on market with purple bricks for six months and not a sausage. Put Reeds Rains on to it and within 3 weeks it was sold for more than purple bricks wanted me to market it for. Worth the extra fees! They actually work for you. Well done.

When moving in the house was damp and dirty, stains and dirt over most surfaces dispute being told it would be fixed.Repeated complaints of damp were made and ignored. Only when environmental health and citizens advice were contacted did reeds bother to do anything. The only thing they did was harass the tenant. Not make any repairs.On leaving, reeds rains continued to harass the tenant and demanded payment for cleaning, despite cleaning being done by the tenant and the dirty state it was leased in.You will not get a straight answer out of them.I could not recommend them less.
