Appalling service experience with RA Bennett Stratford Upon Avon. One thing after another. Failed to produce decent pictures of the property, failed to properly research and communicate true position of potential buyer, failed to communicate effectively throughout and finally we terminated contract. One year on they are attempting to pursue our 77 year old mother for a fee that she does not owe to them and that they did not earn in any way. I cannot stress enough how awful our experience has been. If you want to sell your property with a decent, professional Estate Agency strongly advise you go elsewhere.

I've never missed a payment on my rent and I've lived here for 7 years, I'm a full time parent with a part time job, so I'm on top up benefit's, and because of that I'm discriminated against, they trust people with full time jobs to pay their rent but not people with part time on benefits, when it's the same amount if your were on minimum wage I'm very sensible with my money like anyone who has bills and a child, being on benefits I'm asked to give a guarantor but I have no family so I have no guarantor, but they wouldn't of asked if I wasn't a single parent on top up benefits, I hate the fact, that just because some people have missed their rent payments they tarnish us all with the same brush, and in my unfortunate circumstances I don't have a guarantor so moving is even more stressful and hard work, I guess I hope that one day letting agent's won't treat people on benefits like we all have the plague.

We found Emily to be one of the most knowledgeable, engaging Agents that we have come across in our search for a new home (and we have met many!) there was nothing she didn't know, she was familiar with school catchment area, she had "magic eyes" and helped us see the potential in an old property that we would have not seen without her help. She clearly makes it her business to know as much as she can about a house and its potential and every question we had, she had an answer for it. Although the house she showed us was not for us, she was an absolute pleasure and if every Agent was like her it would make our process so much better. During my tenancy, they did not do any checks on the property whatsoever. They only contacted me on the following occasions: 1: get payments every 6 months to renew my contract. Thankfully the landlord found out and asked them to stop this. 2: tell me about their advertising campaigns. 3: to get a gas certificate off the landlord. That is what they are paid for. How and why was I supposed to do that? When I decided to move out, they asked me to pay a £24 fee to give a reference to the new estate agents. They then asked me to pay rent up to 2 months after giving my notice unless they find a new tenant. Conclusion: they seem to be more interested in getting payments any possible way, even if it puts other people in difficulty, than to do their jobs properly. The worse and greediest estate agency I dealt with.
