GoogleFrom start to finish RA Bennett kept me informed on a regular basis. Even throughout the Covid pandemic they were able to arrange viewings. The whole process went pretty smoothly and the staff were extremely polite with nothing being too much trouble for them. Professional, friendly, clearly knew her profession and also the local area and helped us with an issue further down the chain which she didn't have to do but did and really helped bring the chain to a conclusion. GoogleWe sold our house through them last year, they were OK, though we felt a bit like they didn't have our best interests at heart. We dealt with Jenna, and while she was pleasent enough, things didn't go particularly well. Firstly, she tried to charge us an extra fee (~£200) for our photos, despite RA Bennetts' fees being the highest in the area. We disputed this, and managed to get the fee dropped, which we were happy with as an outcome, but feel that for the sake of the transparency of the review that others should be made aware. It took a while to sell, despite their promises to sell quickly. After making us drop our price, we eventually sold, below the revised asking price. As the sale went on, Jenna got us to drop our price even further, "to maintain our buyer," but we felt like we were badgered to do so. This was particularly galling, as their fees were fixed, meaning we lost money, while they didn't! We felt that they were more interested in the buyer, than us, which isn't what you want from an Estate Agent. We had a lengthy problematic sale, which was partly down to us and partly due the poor housing stock in Evesham, with us pulling out of a few sales due to bad surveys and an unwillingness for sellers to negotiate - even though we had also dropped our own price to keep our own buyer, and ours wasn't even due to survey reasons. We also heard a troubling report from another agency in the area that Jenna hindered our offers to buy, by casting doubts on our seriousness as buyers, making any offers with other agents unobtainable. When we challenged this we were assured that this wasn't the case, but our trust had been completely lost. In an odd twist of fate, we ended up communicating with our buyer directly, cutting Jenna out of the conversation, and making the process a lot easier. Ultimately, due to feeling trapped between a rock and a hard place, having exhausted any avenues to buy successfully, and feeling like we were being blocked by both RA Bennett (though unsubstantiated) and by other agents, we moved out of the area completely. Mercifully, we were put into a situation where we didn't have to corroborate our position with RA Bennett to make a successful offer, thus eliminating Jenna, and RA Bennett from the equation, allowing us to move forward without hindrance. Personally, I would not use RA Bennett to sell a property again.

GoogleSophie Harkness did an incredible job with her presentation and the amount of effort that was employed. Her customer skills were superb and should be applauded for that. Trying to find a place during the Covid world we are experiencing is not easy especially when you are overseas and can not actually visit the place.She was punctual ,attentive and courteous.Her company are incredibly lucky to have someone with that much enthusiasm and professionalism. GoogleI dealt with Michael and I have to say he went above and beyond to secure a rental property for me and my dog at short notice. I was overseas at the time and trying to get home amidst pandemic rules and regulations and time was of the essence. Michael’s communication was excellent. I was kept informed the whole time as to where we were at in the process and how he was expediting matters. Michael was professional and friendly and sought to reassure me constantly that he would do everything possible to make things happen in the timeframe we had. GoogleCustomer service we received from Emma, Russell and Vanessa was simply outstanding. We were kept informed throughout the process and had regular catch ups. The team were always available to talk to whenever I needed to discuss anything. We had a bit of a bumpy ride losing 2 buyers right before the exchange of contract, but the guys resumed active marketing of our property immediately and organised viewings pretty much straight away. We never had to chase feedback, which was great. Emma especially went above and beyond helping us out with negotiating a purchase of our next house and providing very useful advice along the way. She has kept in touch with me regularly and nothing was ever too much trouble. Emma and the team have made this extremely stressful process a lot more bearable. If anybody I know is thinking of selling their house I will definitely be recommending they get in touch with Emma and the team. GoogleWould like to give zero star if system allows me. We meant to move in on Friday and received a phone call 96 hours (within same week) before saying we can no longer move in to the flat as the roof was leaking and need a dehumidifier for two weeks before they can send anyone to fix the issue. No replacement accommodation was offered and said they can refund our deposit (which is disgusting leaving us homeless). I then tried to look for another flat on the website again as I can’t afford to wait for another referencing done by other letting agent. Staff are of lies and one staff said have 10 viewings on the second flat on bank holiday Monday and later in the afternoon another staff saying they have 15 viewings!!!NegativeResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism, Value
Hello Wendy, Whilst I do appreciate the frustration this matter will have caused, I do believe it is fair to say that the unfortunate situation with the property, which made it inhabitable, was outside of the control of a letting agent and you were notified as soon as the matter was known to the local team. It would not have been possible for our local team to have chosen for you replacement accommodation as you would need to select this yourself, ensuring you are happy, prior to any application being made to the landlord. Bank holidays are very busy periods for viewings, with most people being of work and the numbers of people looking to move is very high currently. Whilst you may choose not to believe the advise given to you around viewings numbers, I do believe it is unfair to leave such comments about our local team without being in full knowledge of the facts.
