GoogleBuying a property from the other side of the world (Sydney, Australia) in 6 weeks was always going to be challenging, add Covid lockdowns in the UK, and taxes for overseas investors increasing from 1st April and it seemed like it might not happen by 31 March. But it did! And in no small measure to the irrepressible Sophie Harkness and her equally talented colleague Ellie Ferris. Both ladies went the extra mile to provide pictures and videos of the property, and dealt with the 11 hour time difference ensuring that queries were turned around quickly and I always felt supported. Sophie is always positive, responsive and drives things forward. As Ellie takes over from a Lettings perspective she is getting through the work to prepare the property and find the right tenant. Thank you both, you are a real asset to your company and profession, and I am very grateful for all you have done to make this happen. Best wishes from Down Under! GoogleOf every estate agent we dealt with in the house-viewing stage Sophie Harkness was leagues above the rest in her professionalism, friendliness and responsiveness. Once we decided to make an offer on a home she walked us through every stage right up until the handover and guided us through the process. She regularly checked in with us and made the process a simple and enjoyable one despite the daunting admin and paperwork we originally expected. I can't recommend her and R. A. Bennet & Partners' services enough!

When we decided to sell our house we had a few estate agents come and quote our house, we were immediately blown away by their passion and extensive knowledge of the area. We have been looked after by Kristina and Sophie throughout our sale. They have been extremely professional, helpful and caring throughout. We really appreciated being able to contact them and ask any questions big or small! We would recommend using these guys for selling your property.

GoogleMost estate agents just guide you through a house buying process, which is stressful enough. R A Bennett guided us through this and the COVID pandemic with care and compassion, as well as delivering a highly professional service. Claire came out back in January 2020 to give us a clear, concise and easily understandable plan of action for selling. This immediately put me more at ease as there were no hidden bits I didn’t understand. Luke then came to do the viewings, and swiftly found us a buyer, largely I think part to his genuine enthusiasm for his job, which rubs off on everyone around him. The came the pandemic which threw everything everywhere off kilter. However as soon as trading commenced, I heard from Ian, and it is easy to see why he has thrived in the industry for so long. In less than a month he’d navigated us to exchange and then completion. I cannot recommend this team highly enough. If you are buying, looking to rent, sell, or a prospective landlord, and fall into their catchment area, go straight to the Warwick branch. GoogleR A Bennett have shown how professional they are ,especially in the conditions we are all going through due to Covid 19. From our initial enquiry to view a house To Let . The first viewing was handled well again due to the pandemic, The rules were adhered to. The administration was again very clear , and the whole process was carried out in a very short time. GoogleFound the experience of placing an offer difficult, especially as we were being pushed to use their mortgage advisor and lawyers (despite saying we had our own) and that it would "look good to the vendors" if we did so... Needless to say, that isn't best practice and luckily we have found a lovely property through a different agent, who did not force us to use their own lawyers or mortgage advisors. The manager was also incredibly rude to us on the phone when we called up to speak with the sales negotiater we had been dealing with. When we said we'd be happy for her to call us back (after all, she was dealing with us directly) the manager spoke over us "well I AM the manager" and she abruptly put down the phone. I wouldn't have wanted to continue going though a purchase with this agent. Beware, do not get pushed into using their in house lawyers and mortgage advisors. They charge a fee and regular mortgage advisors do not!NegativeQuality, Professionalism
