Completed the sale of our house today. In the current difficult market it's hard to know what is a realistic price, and Tom's valuation was a fair bit below other agents, but very quickly started to generate viewings and we had an offer within a few months. Achieving a good sale of a large family house is highly valued & Platform did so with friendly speed and efficiency. We must also single out Toni Keath for all her help, always at the end of a phone and often updating us on progress before we'd thought to ask, which was hugely reassuring. We'd recommend Platform Property to any other sellers in the area.

We loved their local knowledge and the way they marketed our house - the photos were great. It was also a real bonus that they work weekends and are contactable for longer office hours than other agents. A special thank you goes to Toni, our sales progressor. She seemed to be the one person keeping the whole chain moving, and was brilliant at keeping in touch to let us know how things were progressing. She was incredibly patient with all our questions and kept us calm when things got a little fraught! Quite simply- The best there is. To say the team at Platform have gone above and beyond for myself and my family in this last 7/8months, due to harrowing personal circumstances, is a huge understatement. As a company they have held out hands through some of the bumpiest rides never being pushy or overbearing. Buying a house is usually one of the most stressful things you'll do- especially when you have a 9 month old baby attached to you hip! However, Dan was phenomenal. We purchased our property from Platform which was a great experience. We had an extremely hard time when it came to selling our property and moving into our dream home. Everything that could go wrong did, sale fell through, buyer pulling out, paperwork not completed, you name it it happened to us. I would not hesitate to recommend Platform Property to anyone thinking about moving house. Tom was brilliant from the start, very straightforward and certainly clear on managing expectations unlike other agents I met. He had my house under offer very swiftly and as I struggled to find the perfect house for me was in constant contact with anything new he had coming up. Tom actually found the perfect house for me and let me see it before it went on the marked and his judgement was right and I made an offer on the front door step. For various reasons including the chain falling through twice the whole transaction was very lengthy. Tom and Dan kept me updated and even when I was being a terrible pain by emailing every five minutes to find out if we had 'any news' and also when I was being a real moaner they were patient and very pro active with pushing things on. As an aside I think when your agent makes the effort to pop in the day after you move to congratulate you it really does say a lot about their investment in their clients.

I had been given unrealistic valuations on what my property could achieve in the current market just so that the agents could get me onto their books, it became apparent quickly that this is one way Estate Agents are measured and rewarded.
