GoogleI don't usually do reviews but having used Peter Lane & Partners, St Neots to sell my Mum's house, I decided that I would break my rule !
I worked mainly with Caroline and Gavin and the customer service was excellent. I am not resident in the UK so this made the process much more complicated but they both went above and beyond to ensure that the sale went smoothly and quickly.
They are both incredibly knowledgeable and personable, extremely efficient and nothing was too much trouble. It was clear from the start that they had much more to offer than other estate agents. Gavin did the valuation which was actually lower than their competitors but he explained very clearly the reasons why and he was right. The others totally over valued it and would have wasted a lot of our time.
If you are going through the stressful process of buying and selling property, you want to work with people who can make it easier for you and I would have no doubts at all in recommending the brilliant service that they offer.

We purchased our house through Peter and Lane and would absolutely never do it again. Even if our dream property came on the market, we wouldn’t buy if it was listed with Peter and Lane, it goes without saying based on our experience as buyers we certainly wouldn’t instruct them to sell. The viewing was awful, the agent saw us waiting outside the property but left, we had to call the office and ask for her to return, she then rushed us and blamed us for the viewing running over. The communication throughout was extremely poor, they were incredibly slow, the customer service was awful and the lady managing our purchase was extremely rude. When we raised our concerns we were told that various people had 20+ years experience and that the agency was well respected and established so our feeling is that they rely purely on this and think that years of experience is more important than providing a good service.
