Advertising package was all that could be expected, and the process moved promptly. Unfortunately a number of circumstances prolonged both the finding of a buyer and subsequently getting to completion, but I was kept well informed along the way. We used Peter Clarke, Wellesbourne to purchase our first home and were amazed by how lovely they were. Vivienne kept us updated constantly and nothing was too much trouble, she kept us more in the loop than our own solicitors did. Within 24hrs of viewing the house, we received a courtesy call to see if we had any further questions or wanted to book another viewing in. We then made an offer later that day and whilst waiting for searches and surveys to get back a few weeks later Viv kindly asked if we wished to view the property again, which we did. Do not recommend. When we tried to rent a property with them, they charged us £250 as a "booking fee", which I have never gotten back, even though we never rented with them. When my husband and I came to view one of their properties, the carbon monoxide detector was switched off, and there was an extremely pungent smell of gas. The agent giving the viewing assured us that this was just 'cooking smell' that was likely a result of the previous owners (who had moved out 3 months prior). On top of our stolen money, the agency did not take this seriously and we have never heard from them since.

VERY GOOD EXPERIENCE OVERALL. We recently completed our house purchase through Peter Clarke (Leamington branch) and are really happy with the outcome. Renée was particularly helpful throughout the process, she is a pleasure to correspond with. As first time buyers, this was a really big deal to us and we found her input very reassuring. Both initially viewing the property and picking up the keys from the office went very smoothly, they were COVID compliant and I felt very safe. One thing to note is that I did request a more detailed floor-plan at one point and was not provided with one, and my request to revisit the house to do my own measurements as an alternative was also ignored which meant I wasn't able to order any furniture prior to moving in. The only thing that we would have changed is that we chose to go with the solicitor recommended by Peter Clarke and we wish we had done a bit more research first. Next time, I think I would research other conveyancing solicitors instead of automatically going with the one recommended by the agent!PositiveResponsiveness, Professionalism

With having a baby only 6 weeks old when we put our house on the market, Peter Clarke always checked in with us to make sure they weren’t encroaching on naps etc - now that is next level service and very personal. The communication from Giles after showing customers around was fantastic with a call straight after each viewing with an update. The communication since we STC from Renée has been outstanding and has always been there so professionally and personally for me when the process of the chain got a little stressful and always ended the call on a giggle.
