So the client wants to sell

So the client wants to sell, so say? I set an appointment for last week, cancelled at last minute, child is unwell. Rescheduled for this week, today. Agent rings us in this morning to confirm, but not the seller, . Agent shows us in, and the security alarm has gone off. No they had no number for the alarm (its an asset for the sale, but not mentioned on the brochure). I had a number of questions including why have PB wasted the agents time, and mine, in coming to the viewing. Personally i am very disappointed with the heirarchy of PB, having been let down as a buyer before, with this company. I hate giving a 1 when 2 will do, but i cannot justify 2/5. All phones on saturday going through to answering machine. Is this the prime time that people do look in estate agent windows?

I don’t usually write reviews, but I wanted to give a big shout out to Karen Wills, who showed me a property today in Cheltenham. I was probably her last appointment on what was a very hot day, but you wouldn’t have known it, she was absolutely brilliant. Karen was warm, super chatty, and really attentive without being overbearing. She offered great advice, clearly knows the area well, and let me take my time looking around without any pressure. Having worked in customer service myself for over 30 years, I really appreciate when someone goes the extra mile, and Karen’s a star. Thanks again, Karen!

Chose to go to best-and-final offers 20 hours before my viewing… frustrating when I have spent several hours researching the property already. In my experience it’s usually a sign of an agency that can’t be bothered doing any more viewings when they know they have several offers already and a few thousand pounds extra won’t change their commission much. If that’s how they treat chain-free cash buyers, then good luck to anyone who isn’t. Makes a mockery of their mottos ‘we always do the right thing’ and ‘always keep our promises’. They’ll reply with some excuse along the lines of ‘we were only following our clients instructions’ and/or ‘we offered you a chance to see it sooner’… I guess those reading this review can make up their own mind.

We have let two houses with Peter Ball lettings, one for 11 years and the other for 7 years and they have provided an excellent service to us over this period. In the last year Tess Ashmeade has been the Property Manager in Cheltenham and has been wonderful. She answers all queries quickly, efficiently and has an excellent nature. She is polite, helpful and liaises with both us and the tenants effectively. It is a delight to deal with her, she is an excellent ambassador for Peter Ball.

Stefan was incredibly professional, engaging and willing to listen about what we knew about our house to then feed that into the sales cycle. A superb effort by the whole team to sell our house in a tricky climate. Tori did an amazing job with fantastic professional photos, virtual video tour and viewings while Charlie proactively kept me up-to-date with upcoming viewings and the required feedback from those viewings. Awful experiences

We had an appointment scheduled by Peter Ball & Co to view a property at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, August 10th. However, no staff showed up on-site at the scheduled time. We called 01242 255288 for assistance, simply wanting to know if Karen Wills was coming, but no one was able to help. In the end, no one showed up, so we decided to leave. We were furious, having driven from Swindon to Cheltenham specifically to view the property. We certainly didn't expect no one to show up. Terrible services!!

My experience with Peter Ball has been amazing from start to finish. Ricardo was the first point of contact who came and valued my property and took the photos. He was warm and professional and did an excellent job. Julian the Office Manager is extremely helpful, sold my property very quickly and was excellent at communication and helping me find a property to move to. Dionne the Move Manager, she went above and beyond. She kept my sale together, when unfortunately I had a below par solicitor. If it hadn’t been for her, I believe the whole chain would have collapsed. I cannot recommend this Estate Agents enough. I would not use anyone else. I don’t normally leave reviews, but I feel like I just had to because they have been so brilliant. They are not your typical estate agents. A huge thank you!!!
