My experience with Peter Ball has been amazing from start to finish. Ricardo was the first point of contact who came and valued my property and took the photos. He was warm and professional and did an excellent job. Julian the Office Manager is extremely helpful, sold my property very quickly and was excellent at communication and helping me find a property to move to. Dionne the Move Manager, she went above and beyond. She kept my sale together, when unfortunately I had a below par solicitor. If it hadn’t been for her, I believe the whole chain would have collapsed. I cannot recommend this Estate Agents enough. I would not use anyone else. I don’t normally leave reviews, but I feel like I just had to because they have been so brilliant. They are not your typical estate agents. A huge thank you!!!

Am just updating my review - we still have the two properties with Peter Ball one for 9 years the other 6 years. The service continues to be exemplary. The rental team is led by Edward Slark-Hughes and supported by Morgan Hennessy and Belinda Griffin. Edward has been very responsive, negotiating contracts with new tenants and he has done exactly what he said he would do - which is professional and re-assuring. Excellent letting service

We have let two houses with Peter Ball lettings, one for 11 years and the other for 7 years and they have provided an excellent service to us over this period. In the last year Tess Ashmeade has been the Property Manager in Cheltenham and has been wonderful. She answers all queries quickly, efficiently and has an excellent nature. She is polite, helpful and liaises with both us and the tenants effectively. It is a delight to deal with her, she is an excellent ambassador for Peter Ball.

I was pleased that they priced the property correctly at launch in what was a particularly price-sensitive market at the time, thereby avoiding the need to reduce the sale price during the process. Aweful experiences

We had an appointment scheduled by Peter Ball & Co to view a property at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, August 10th. However, no staff showed up on-site at the scheduled time. We called 01242 255288 for assistance, simply wanting to know if Karen Wills was coming, but no one was able to help. In the end, no one showed up, so we decided to leave. We were furious, having driven from Swindon to Cheltenham specifically to view the property. We certainly didn't expect no one to show up. Terrible services!!

We had previously dealt with Peter Ball (Charlton Kings) and had found them to be excellent. This time, we had had a property on the market via another estate agent for almost a year and could not understand why it was sticking. We switched to PB (Leckhampton) who within a week had not only arranged more viewings than the original agent had managed in a year, but within 3 weeks of appointment secured a sale. My partner and I just purchased our first property though Peter Ball - at first they were great and attentive (Emily was great at booking in viewing for us), however once we had our offer accepted the process became increasingly difficult and we didn’t feel like we had much support at all from our sales progression team. The owners did not even know that we had had our offer accepted for 2 weeks while Peter Ball knew that we were under time constraints with our rented property, this caused us to have to pay double rent for 2 months when they originally said that it was a no chain property and that it will be a quick process. We could never get hold of the team via phone call and emails were hardly ever responded to. We found the team to be very unhelpful throughout and therefore will not be recommending them or never using them again in the future.

Throughout my time there Emma was always very responsive, personable and professional. When I had issues at the property they were always dealt with and resolved within a timely manner. Chose to go to best-and-final offers 20 hours before my viewing… frustrating when I have spent several hours researching the property already. In my experience it’s usually a sign of an agency that can’t be bothered doing any more viewings when they know they have several offers already and a few thousand pounds extra won’t change their commission much. If that’s how they treat chain-free cash buyers, then good luck to anyone who isn’t. Makes a mockery of their mottos ‘we always do the right thing’ and ‘always keep our promises’. They’ll reply with some excuse along the lines of ‘we were only following our clients instructions’ and/or ‘we offered you a chance to see it sooner’… I guess those reading this review can make up their own mind.

I bought a property with tenant around 5 months ago, I have been trying to sort the transferral or the agreement and deposit since then. I have chased and chased and, despite multiple calls and emails, have now heard nothing for almost a month - having been promised calls back multiple times since then. Their proactivity on sorting these issues has been non-existent and it's incredibly frustrating trying to sort this with them, then hearing nothing back despite promises.. I would actively avoid using them to purchase, sell or manage a property in the future.
