GoogleTired calling multiple times to view a property to let. Was just told they are all out on viewings and someone will call you back..noone ever did. I understand companies are short-staffed these days, but it's very unprofessional not to call you back, even after multiple times calling.

GoogleI do not like to leave negative reviews.however when i called to cancel a viewing it appeared that the phone was put down on me.Ifeel that some of the staff appear very cold in theire mannerism.I viewed a property which was on the market with them and also with them and also a multiple agency when i called them to let them know i had already viewed the ptoperty i was told to call them and no one else i now feel that i know longer wish to pursue any furthur with the purchase

GoogleI attempted to sell and purchase properties at Colchester and Clacton via the Palmers & Partners at both locations. I dealt with a number of personnel (both Alfies at Colchester and Harry at Clacton, but the two people that I had regular dealings with were Paul at Colchester and Lynn at Clacton. Both of them were very professional and friendly and could not have done any more to make the transactions successful. The fact that I pulled out of the transactions was purely due to the intransigence of the buyers representatives. Should I need a good Estate Agents in the future, Palmers and Partners will certainly be my port of call.

GoogleThey will set an appointment then disregard the time they scheduled. You will be left literally standing in the rain, waiting for their agent to show the property you were supposed to view. Incompetent agent and rude management in the Colchester office. There is also a striking difference between their allAgents ratings and their Google reviews, which leaves one to wonder about the legitimacy of their non-verified reviews! Best to avoid, unless you enjoy dealing with rude and incompetent people!

Dear Boroka. I am very sorry that the viewing prior to yours overran by around 6 minutes and that it was raining; meaning you had to wait in the covered entryway. However, we always make a point of trying not to rush people through their appointments in order to give them ample time to find out all the relevant information that they require to make what could be a complex and important decision. It is also regrettable that you were not able to resolve this with the branch manager but your aggression and rudeness to my colleague combined with the fact that the tenant who currently lives at the property (who was present at your appointment) has contacted us to complain about your behaviour, made it quite difficult for us to have any meaningful discourse with you. We are sorry that we were unable to have a productive and warm relationship and we wish you the best in your search.

GooglePalmers & Partners were extremely helpful and aided in chasing and liaising between myself and my buyer through a complicated sale. They also provided updates as and when they could to keep me in the loop on progress, it was much appreciated.

GoogleEvery time we phoned up to speak to someone dealing with our sale, they were either on lunch, just popped out of the office, on a half day, on another call, or not in that day. Occasionally they would return a call, but most of the time nothing. Imo as soon as they had a sale, they weren't interested in dealing with us. Bearing in mind my wife did all the viewings, they earned a nice some out of us for basically putting the house online. If I was looking to sell or rent a property, i wouldn't use Palmer and partners again.

GoogleThank you very much Manager, Paul Devereaux, of Palmer and Partners, and your very excellent team of people for selling my bungalow in Colchester- in such an unbelievably short space of time!! I tried to sell my bungalow 5 years ago, but didn't get many viewings,hence No Sale. So this time, as I still wanted to move, I tried Palmer and Partners in Colchester. They have a very nice office in Crouch Street. They were highly recommeded to me, by a neighbour and they have a very good reputation locally. I am so glad that I chose Palmer and Partners now!! They managed to sell my bungalow in an amazingly short space of time. I would very strongly recommend this company to anyone. From start to finish, they acted in an extremely professional manner- very timely, gave good feedback, were very informative, and took great care to make sure that my home was kept safe for me. The whole team are extremely Covid Aware. As I am elderly and disabled, and I am on the Government Extremely Vulnerable list, each Sales Person make a great effort to make sure that all Visitors that came to view my home, abided by the strict Covid rules. Thank you,Diane, for selling my bungalow for me. I know you have been in Estate Agency Sales for a long time, but you are an excellent Sales person.You have a very good Sales Pitch. I myself worked, before retirement many years ago, in a countrywide Estate Agency for many years, so I knew what to look out for! You are a great asset to Palmer and Partners,Diane. Well done! Thanks, also, to all the Sales team in the office for your wonderful, very professional service on the telephone. All calls are answered very promptly and all the questions I had, were answered very promptly.They are all very efficient. My special thanks go to Jacob, the new younger member of the team. GoogleTerrible experience selling my home, P&P communicated poorly, took over twenty weeks to complete on a chain-less transaction. My negotiator was too unwell to work from the office which I only found out after the problems arose. P&P didn’t think it was weird to not receive a date from both sides solicitors at week 17, yet apparently sat waiting like lemons. Also did not perform financial checks on the buyers properly, which led to me personally covering two months of the buyers private rental to allow him to move into my property two months earlier than we could have (due to the above lack of communication through the chain). Plenty more to share with email chain.

GoogleLeanne Withers and Jon Gallop of Palmers have managed my flat for many years. Recently it transpired there was a problem with the electric supply which meant we had to arrange for a new supply. Leanne was incredibly proactive throughout the entire (very complicated and challenging) process and massively assisted in reducing the stress of dealing with it all. Leanne took the lead and was able to ensure that the matter was dealt with as painlessly as possible and with minimum fuss. Sincere thank you to Leanne and Jon and the team at Palmers for this, one of the most wonderful experiences I have ever had in my entire professional career! Very well done!!!!!

GoogleI have recently used these guys for the third time to sell my latest property and once again they did not fail to deliver - my home was online for less than 24 hours before I was offered the asking price. Richard was excellent from day one when he attended the property for valuation and photos.
