In cases where there are discrepancies, such as property cleanliness or damage, we follow the guidelines set by the Tenancy Deposit Scheme, an impartial third-party adjudication service. This service ensures that both landlords and tenants receive a fair resolution based on the evidence provided, in this case a property inspection. We do not retain any deposits ourselves; all decisions are based on the Tenancy Deposit Scheme’s thorough review and ruling. Palmer & Partner’s were not involved in the decision making when it comes to how the deposit is awarded. The Tenancy Deposit Scheme would have also sent you their adjudication report on how they reached their decision.
