Hi Rashan, We understand that security deposits are a significant concern for tenants, and we take this matter very seriously. As you were aware at the end of your tenancy, the landlord expressed concerns regarding the condition in which the property was left, indicating that it required professional cleaning and redecoration. As per our standard procedure, this matter was fairly reviewed by the Tenancy Deposit Scheme, an independent adjudication service. After their thorough assessment, they determined that a significant portion of the deposit should be allocated to cover these expenses. Palmer & Partner’s were not involved in the decision making when it comes to how the deposit is awarded. The Tenancy Deposit Scheme would have also sent you their adjudication report on how they reached their decision.
